Build overview

This build is what I have used in the past and it works wonders for me. I personally value damage over CDR, but if you do not have the same views as me you can always get CDR boots and the $500 potion to get the 40% cooldown reduction.
If you use this build, you should be able to “one shot” any squishy you want late game.
I have used this build in Arena/Joust/Clash/Conquest and even siege, but you can really see her late game potential by playing her in the mid position in conquest.

Skills

Deadly Aspects- Stun with moderate-high damage. You can use this ability to deal massive damage after you hit the enemy with Dark Omen. You can also use this ability to escape. Stun the enemy then immediately use confusion to ensure a safe getaway.
Upgrade this ability second

Dark Omen- A line attack that hits everyone that it passes, this ability deals damage and sets a timer above the affected enemies head. Once another ability hits the enemy with a timer, it will deal additional damage equal to how much it dealt on first contact. Use this ability whenever you can. The more enemies with the timer above them the more damage you will deal, the more kills you will get, the more efficient you will be, etc.. Upgrade this ability FIRST

Confusion- Shoots a clone out in whatever direction you choose. Use this ability to escape. You can also use this ability to waste the enemies abilities. This ability has more uses than you think. If an enemy god were to attack you with an ability that stops on the first god hit you can throw your clone out to take the damage and you will be safe and unscathed. You can also throw ur clone out to make it look like you are running away and then immediately turn around, use your stun on the chasing enemy, proc poly with a basic, use your Dark Omen ability, and then pop your invis again before they notice what the hell just happened. PRACTICE with this ability, imo this ability is what makes The Morrigan such a great god. Upgrade this ability at your own pace.

Changeling- Turns you into whatever god you choose within your game. You have access to the entire kit of the enemy god along with their ultimate. Use this in large team fights. Use this to ensure safe escape. Use this for anything you can think of. In a 1v1 situation you will ideally want to use all of your abilities, then change to whatever god you have selected, use all of that gods abilities, change back to The Morrigan, and then use all of her abilities once again. One important thing to note is that you can pre-select what god you want to use by cursuring over their name after you click your ultimate. Although this ability is 100% situational, you will want to pre-select a god with a great escape Incase of emergency. Again.. this ability is 100% situational so view all of your options before wasting your ult. Upgrade this ability at your own pace.

How to utilize her full potential

1st- Wait for the enemy to be distracted by a teammate if you are playing a team game, if you are playing mid in conquest; wait for the enemy players abilities to be on cooldown.
2nd- Land your 2 on the target enemy (this will apply a timer on the target, the next time an ability hits that target they will be dealt additional damage).
3rd- Pop your invis.
4th- Engage the target with your 1 ready to use(but also make sure that soul gem is at 4 stacks to deal some extra damage).
5th- After target is stunned follow up with a basic attack to proc polynomicon
6th- Land another 2 on the target enemy (by this time the target will either be dead or he/she will have used their relics to get away.
7th- Either follow target with your invis and finish them off, or play it safe and farm while they run back to base.
These steps follow a perfect 1v1 situation that we don’t see very often, before you engage the enemy make sure the minions are cleared, there is no way to be ganked, and that you have a relic up to save your *** if they turn on you.

Ultimate

The Morrigan has every ultimate that is currently in your game. The way that you use this ultimate will depend on YOU. I have no idea which gods you are playing with and I’m assuming that you have a basic knowledge of the gods in smite. DO NOT WASTE THIS ULT. If you synergies this ult along with The Morrigans kit you can zero ANYONE. Use the ult responsibly even if it means changing into Khepri just to save another fellow Khepri(:

Build 2

This build is currently being tested by myself to see if it is actually viable compared to build 1. As of right now I would say NO. Use build 1, but if you find that you are killed very easily feel free to try this build out. It offers more sustain but less damage.
