Greetings all, I've been playing Smite for a while and have tested many gods out but one that has always done good when used properly is Artemis. You can build her in 3 different ways that fit almost all the situations and preferences of the game.
Artemis The Goddess of the Hunt
Armed with a magical bow, Artemis is the unrivaled Goddess of the Hunt!
Daughter of Zeus and Leta, Artemis and her twin brother Apollo are products of Zeus' infidelity to his wife Hera. Insulted, Hera cursed Leta while she was pregnant, forbidding her to give birth on land or sea. Fortunately, she found an island that did not touch the ocean floor, so it was neither land nor sea, and thus bore her children. Artemis was born first, then miraculously aided as midwife in the birthing of her brother.
Artemis spent her childhood in the hills and forests, training with her bow and hunting beasts. As she grew older and more beautiful, she also grew proud and ruthless when slighted or dishonored, especially against those that claimed to be better hunters than she. Adonis boasted this very thing and Artemis sent a wild boar to skewer him. The twin demigods Otos and Ephialtes, who could not be killed except by each other, threatened to kidnap Artemis and force her to marry one of them, but were tricked when Artemis, appearing as a doe, dashed between them. As they thrust with their spears, they impaled each other. Finally, Actaeon, after peeping at Artemis while she bathed, was transformed into a stag and devoured by his own hunting dogs. Such is the wrath of Artemis.
Her name is invoked by hunters seeking prey and by midwives during childbirth. Sacrifices are made in her name before a new military campaign. Adolescent girls are sent to her shrine to serve for one year. Beautiful, deadly, and chaste, Artemis is a focused woman and a fearsome warrior.

Artemis places up to 3 traps that additionally act as wards. Enemy gods coming within 5 feet of her traps activate them, rooting the enemy god and doing 25 / 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 (+30% of your physical power) physical damage every second for 3 seconds.
Cost: 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 mana.
Cooldown: 18 / 16 / 14 / 12 / 10seconds.
Key Bind: 2
Artemis attacks at a furious pace, increasing her attack speed by 35 / 45 / 55 / 65 / 75% for 3 / 3.5 / 4 / 4.5 / 5 seconds.

_________________________________________________________________________________________Suppress the Insolent
Key Bind: 3

Cost: 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 mana.
Cooldown: 10 seconds.
Key Bind: 4
Artemis summons the great Kalydonian Boar to wreak havoc on her enemies, doing 150 / 225 / 300 / 375 / 450 (+100% of your physical power) physical damage to the nearest enemy god and stunning them for 2 seconds. The boar will continue to charge other nearby enemy gods for his 8 second life time.
Artemis is also immune to crowd control effects for 3 seconds.
Cost: 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 / 120 mana.
When entering any kind of situation with Artemis you should use your Transgressors Fate to your advantage, either continueously walking over it or keeping it between you and the enemy. There are 2 things you can do when entering a fight with Artemis; 1) Use Vengeful Assault and bombard the opponent, or 2) Use Suppress the Insolent dropping it on them and then using Vengeful Assault and picking them off one by one.
In the event you need to escape with Artemis your best bet is to while ruining drop Transgressors Fate so that anyone follow right behind is trapped, while also using Suppress the Insolent so they are slowed and give you a bit of a gap between you and the enemy.
During a team fight you should always use Suppress the Insolent in the middle of the group to slow and damage a good number of the enemy team while follow that up with Calydonian Boar to progress it's way throw the enemy team while giving your team a huge advantage.
