Quick Introduction

Heya all, my name is Psiyo, Iam the LEFT LANER for BLGEU. I just wanna introduce myself quickly Iam a dedicated Player since Guidl Wars 1 and I always look for the competition in any game i play so obviously also in SMITE. I want to create this guide cause Agni got reworked alot since he was first released and he is pretty much underrated now cause his stun isn´t this strong anymore but i will gove more detail afterwards so just start with the Items (Note that there can be various builds for AG>NI it depends on wich lane u play him and who u are facing/items of opponents and stuff but i will do this guide for an AGNI on the left lane!)

SKILLZZ

PASSIVE COMBUSTION

After hitting with 4 Basic attacks, AGNI will gain a buff. On next cast of Flame Wave or Rain of Fire, all enemies hit by those abilities will be additionally set ablaze, taking 5(+10% of your magical power) Magical damage every 0.5Seconds for 3Seconds

This Passive spell from AGNI is very String early and early midgame the damage the enemys get deald by setting them ablaze is a good way of her***ing them so make sure that u always have this ability up before start her***ing early at your lane this extra damage is needed early on!

AGNI summons a cloud of noxious fumes at his ground target location, doing 10/20/30/40/50(+5% of your magical damage) magical damage every second for 10Seconds. Firing any of AGNIS abilities into the fumes detonates the gas, stunning all enemies in the radius for 1Seconds.

This spell is you main UTILITY spell as AGNI so use it whisely it not jsut can stun a entire team in a teamfight but it can also be sued to stun specific targets and be used for slowing down enemies when u are chasing (in combnation with gem of isolation;D) i get to the use of stuns etc later on!


AGNI summons a wayve of fire in frint if him that scorches all enemies in its patch for 80/120/160/200/240(+40% of your magical power) magical damage.
Ignites Noxious Fumes


Your main damage spell with AGNI it is very strong in early and midgame due to his basic damage this means u haven´t to be this fed in the early and midgame too do a good damage output in those teamfights also note that it Ignites Noxious Fumes really important when it comes to positioning/fighting!


Every 20Seconds, AGNI gains a flaming halo, storing up to 3. AGNI can expend a halo to summon a giant meteor at his ground target location, doing 175/215/255/295/335(60% of your magical power) magical damage. He can summon 1 every 0.8Seconds. Ignites Noxious Fumes. Cooldown is dependent on available halos.

SO let´s get to your ULTIMATE spell and this is defineatly one of the best Ultimates in the game for laning and for fighting because it doesn´t cost you any Mana at all u just have to wait for it´s cooldown to come up and u can use this spell and if stored 3times in a row what makes a huge huge engage possible in combination with your stun in teamfights in close Quarters like the goldfury/firegiant!Also u gain a great pushing pwoer at lvl 5 when u first skill your spell to lvl1. No mana great damage low cooldown spamable dmg in combination with gem of isolation GREAT ULTIMATE!

General Information/building/situations/playstyle

So now to the core(*NOTE* i don´t have an item section added because i will explain everything and when/how to use/buy it in this section!). I did post alot of builds above but i will break them all apart and talk about them. First of all lets talk abit about Reinforced Boots i know they got nerfed pretty harsh a few patches ago (a well deserved one) but even tho they are nerfed i still think these boots are the way to start with basically every GOD except some of them. Basically u gain some early benefits from it because creeps won´t hit u as hard as with other boots and the HP5 is still not too shaby nevertheless u get 30% CC reduction when u max them and this is what we aim for here cause it´s basically maybe the best effect in the game due to much cc´s and no diminishing return this is basically why i always go for Reinforced Boots III.



Gimme that Vision bro, we Talk about Warding now i´m sorry i don´t have a map here but i maybe EDIT it later on...... so u get wards in the Left lane on your first travell back to base cause u got either superfed or u got ganked and died sadly though so for warding get 4wards if possible at arround level 6 i´d say to ward the cross at your blue / cross at firegiant(or gold fury depends with side you are) and the crossroad at the enemy Speed Buff(the orange one :D) basically just get some Wards throughout the whole game to get this mapvision going your team needs so badly infact it´s really really IMPORTANT to see where they are heading if they group up if they gank ect you know what i´m talking about guys just get them ! !



The next thing i wanna talk about are POTIONS i think u really need to decide if u wanna get early agression lane sustain or just passive farm and it depends on if u can get a jungle buff or not.
So for Healing Potion if u go for 3x Healing Potion u have a good sustain early in the game u can take some creephits to her*** or u can take her*** to her*** yourself but u have to be carefull due to mana issues early on with AGNI mostly i go for Health potions because i don´t wanna overpush or overagress my lane too much agni is jsut to weak to score early kills in the game if u play against proper teams they will jsut outsustain u with healing potions/heals maybe(Guan yu/hel) so be careful when u actually try to her*** and use your spells for it when u go Healing positions, cause if u go oom by just getting some dmg onto them wich they can counterheal with heals and potions u pretty much lose the lane cause they can outpush you outfarm you and outlevel you.




And for Mana Potion just go for Manapotions if u either get the healbuff or you are 1000000% sure u can win the lane easyli without getting too much dmg foe example never go Manapotions against SOBEk cause if he lands 1 Fling onto you even if u don´t die there early in the game u get so much dmg that u just have to back out and you lose the lane so better be sure that you win your lane with the Jungler or you get the Green(healing) Buff. If you get the healing buff early on be sure to push the lane as hard as you can.. because? you jsut can do it with agni you got a great escape with dash a great cc and good damage overall early don´t go for the kills just try to win the lane by outpushing and farm them if they engage you with greenbuff just dash away throw maybe a stun wait 1-2 waves and you will be back to 100% life with the Green buff.. soo much for Mana Potion.





Let´s get to Hand of the Gods this item is just the Meta right now there is not too much too explain just take it at Level 1 and speak with your jungler when and how to use it and if you know you are not getting any buffs soon or steal any buffs or going to Fury/fg jsut use it on creeps to push the lane to your advantage!. (Great item tbh but too overpowered and it forces the Meta immo)



So we got our Startbuild now Reinforced Boots I + Hand of the Gods + Mana Potion / Healing Potion let´s get to the good stuff so as first item i will always suggest you to go for Gem of Isolation III this item is jsut great seriously it gives everything you need for an early/mid game (mostly midgame due to the fact it´s hella expensive :D )the Utility u gain with the slow for Teamfighting7chasing/escaping is enormous the life/mana also great and 70 magical Powermore then enough from jsut 1 Item tbh so do´nt even bother to anything else except(yes except because there are some points u won´t go it first item)you face a double mage lane like Hel/guan yu then go straight for Void Stone III or you got a really heave AD lane like Cupid/Anhur then you might consider getting Wall of Absolution III but in all other situations just get this gem going ASAP.




For mid Game now it depends on what´s going on in the game is the AD carry fed is the MAGE in mid lane fed ect ect. Soo too start if all is going well your team is doing good and you are farmed as hell then just don´t bother to go any defense item jsut go for Glass cannon and buy Rod of Tahuti III if your team isn´t doing too good and u lsot let´s say the last teamfight cause the other team jsut does this tiny bit better then you then go for Hide of Leviathan III basically that´s the whole midgame i get to the Playstyle later on.Ew and before i forget it either Aegis Amulet or Purification Beads can come inr eally handy get the beads if u cast from the rangez(will explain later on) and get the aegis if u are the dasher beast!




Let´s continue with the endgame yeah Fire Giant time boyz so at this point u most likely will have your build like this Reinforced Boots III + Gem of Isolation III + Hand of the Gods + Rod of Tahuti III + Hide of Leviathan III basically that´s how it will always end up at some point except your team is not doing well and the enemy is fed now u gotta decide who is focusing me more the MAGE or the AD CARRY either u get Void Stone III (my personal favorite it adds so much more then just defense ;D) or you go Midgardian Mail III this item i only suggest if the enemy AD or JUNGLER are really just focusing on getting onto you (whats kinda hard against AGNI due to mobility and Gem of Isolation III) but if they manage it buy this item it helps alot. Let´s go to the better side of Life what to build when your TEAM does well and they build much defense .. pretty simple if they all go for full Magical defense just buy Obsidian Shard III but if they mix up like the caster are getting Void Stone III and more Phisycal protection overall i suggest you to go Void Stone III also! last but not least some uf u might ask why the hell is this idiot putting Magi's Blessing III on his guide he has too be really dumb just get Stone of Gaia III or something else no this item i just get when both teams do good and the next fight decides the Winner jsut to give you a hint as AGNI you want to get a clean 5´man stun that´s like a Royal Flush for your Team todo so you have to dash into them (most of the times) and if u do so the might be stunning you but zjis item prevends one ability doesn´t seem much cause they will all spam their **** into me dude! no it does if u dash in yur team is following you get this 5man ROYAL FLASH going you use Aegis Amulet hell yes u don´t have waisted your Purification Beadsoh yes so now you can use them afterwards to escape again or just shred their team apart! basically that´s everything i need to say about the itemazation from AGNI left lane so no get to the Gameplay actually...yey




So for Gameplay as Agni in the early game you really want to decide am i agressive and push the **** out of them or am i passively farm and get my game going for my team. If u go agressive remind that you jsut have 1 Dash so don´t use it to engage if possible cause a fight can always go really bad so keep this spell for escaping the situation.. most of the times though . In early game use your spellcombination with Noxious Fumes and Flame Wave todo dmg then spam your Meteors onto them as crazy!. If u play passively in the lane you pretty much just try to farm and if they push you use your Flame Wave/Meteor to coutnerpush them. Basically that´s all you need to know about the early from AGNI (ah and don´t forget about your passive combustion it´s really strong early game!)




For MID game stop farm and try to be usefull isntead ... now u get at that point wher maybe the first teamfight starts and or gold fury let´s just say it will most likely end in a teamfight midgame if this happens u gotta decide now are u standing behind and spam meteors or are u dashing in fully aggression and put them meteors onto them like a CHAMPION(don´t forget them WARDS to get ze Vision going!!!!!) in both situations you have to land your stun correctly u have to know who you want to be taken out so always focus the stun on the target of choice if the team gets caught also better for you for xample arachne very squishy no escape same with artemis if u land the engage on her nevermind if u spam from behind wiht meteor+stun combination or you dash in (better agains artemis because u can isntakill her BOAR!;D) your team wins this fight except they are 10k Gold ahead huehuehueh so jsut engage properly win the fight =happy team=happy agni!!







Let´s get to the Endgame...... in the endgame it´s not about target of choice anymore it´s about getting all of them in cc so they use the beads and then u basically have won cause if they use beads and your team is good and concentrated they may won´t spam CC now and then they are just behind in this teamfight they can try to instakill someone with the massive force of their carrys or they retreat either of thos make them lose(ye u may think hey but hey instakilled a person from your team .. maybe yes but they have no beads and are full into us and also has them carryz for instakilling but we have beads!!!!) a objective maybe like Tower/fury/giant /maybe not giant cause it´s way to important in late game) but then they don´t have any beads left and it should be an easy fight if the teams are equal cause the cc and the stunns deciding the endgame fights!



So now that u know everything i know u should be rdy to play that SWAGNI! happy bursting guyz ;)

Try to use proper English grammar, not the common internet words and extra letters in other words. Some of us aren't English native speakers.
Good guide, for the most part, but you could break that giant #walloftext into smaller bits with headings or whatnot. Lots of text, I have a hard time focusing on it. I personally, as an Agni main, don't agree with the build path, but that's your choice and you explained it well... Still too much text though.

Main thing: break that #walloftext up and grammar.
