Skills

This chapter is about Scylla's skills.

This is Scylla's passive. It grants Scylla +20 magical power for each stack. A stack is gained from maxing any one of her abilities; the stacks max at 4 (+80 magical power).

This is Scylla's first ability. It a root and a cripple, this will stop the enemy from using an escape when they are rooted with this ability. The only way to escape from this ability is to use beads. At max rank, this ability can root two more enemies allowing you to use the Sic 'Em- Crush combo on more targets.

This is Scylla's second ability and her main lane clear. It creates a a circle that can be detonated by activating it again. Enemies caught by the detonation will be hit with a 30% slow. At max rank, enemies in the circle (before detonation) will have their magical protection reduced by 25%.

This is Scylla's third ability and her escape. It allows Scylla to to summon a sentinel to a target area granting her vision, if she activates the ability again, she can move to that area; this needs to be done within 5 seconds. At max rank, Sentinel allows Scylla to see through walls. This ability also grants MP5, only for Scylla, as its passive.

This is Scylla's ultimate. She rises up on her tentacle-dog-things and crashes down on the target that you placed. If you get a kill with her ultimate, you are allowed to target again, if you get another kill then you are allowed to target again; this goes on until you wipe their entire team. At max rank, you gain 70% movement speed (double rank 1-4, 35%). If you have no sentinel due to using it to initiate, shouldn't do that in the future, you can pop your ultimate to get away.

Point Skipping

Levelling Scylla's abilities is one of the most important parts of this god. This is mainly because of her passive, Quick Learner, this passive allows Scylla to gain +20 magical power at each stack; with four stacks to obtain, you can have +80 magical power. This is the main reason that you need to level her abilities correctly.

To level her abilities correctly, we need to do something called Point Skipping.

What is Point Skipping?

Point Skipping is the tactic of skipping a level up point in order to max an ability. This is crucial to Scylla due to her passive. The reason Point Skipping is a thing is because Smite will try to stop you from levelling one ability twice and the rest at least once. For example, you are level 3 and you have two points in your first ability and one in your second, you level up and Smite will stop you from levelling your first ability and will try to push you to level your second and third ability.

When do I point skip?

The most common levels to point skip are at level 8 and level 13.

Ability Leveling

Priority:

> > >

This is the best and most common way to level Scylla up. To display the Point Skip, I will put the levelling below, in detail:

Level One.

Level up Crush. This is your main wave clear.

Level Two.

Level up Sic 'Em. This is to gain more control over the enemy.

Level Three.

Level up Sentinel. This is your main escape and you should have it at the ready. Never, ever use your only form of escape to initiate, this is especially true on a god such as Scylla. Only use it to catch up to the enemy if you have vision and that you are safe with team-mates.

Level Four.

Level up Crush.

Level Five.

Level up I'm a Monster.

Level Six.

Level up Crush.

Level Seven.

Level up Crush.

Level Eight.

Point Skip. I know it is tempting to put a point into Sic 'Em or Sentinel but don't, you want that +20 magical power!

Level Nine.

Level up both Crush and I'm a Monster.

Level Ten

Level up Sic 'Em.

Level Eleven

Level up Sic 'Em.

Level Twelve

Level up Sic 'Em.

Level Thirteen

Point Skip.

Level Fourteen

Level up both Sic 'Em and I'm a Monster.

Level Fifteen to Level Twenty

Level normally between Sentinel and I'm a Monster.

Ability Combos

Use on Minion wave

Use Sic 'Em one the large minion and then use Crush one where the minion wave is. Immediately detonate Crush and use basic attacks on the remaining minions.

Use Crush in front of the first minion and use basic attacks to keep them together. Detonate Crush when they are in a nice little bunch and use Sic 'Em on the remaining minions.

Use on players

Use Sic 'Em on the player and immediately use Crush and detonate.

Use Sic 'Em to root and cripple them in place and then use I'm a Monster on them. If you kill them, you get to attack them again with your ultimate. If not, move on to the next combo \/.

> >

If you didn't kill them (and their entire team) with your ultimate, use Crush straight after to kill/slow them. If they still aren't dead, use basic attacks.

I like it, you detail your guide very nicely and has an appealing layout. I especially appreciate the ability guide for leveling and combos. I don't play Scylla but I might try her with this guide now.
