Cerberus's Skill Order Notes I really prefer to level Cerb's Ghastly Breath as quick as possible for the shred and damage, as well as increasing slow.

Paralyzing Spit

1 X
Cerberus's snake tail spits venom that passes through and damages Enemies. If Cerberus's dog heads are Alert, they then also spit venom when the ability is fired. Each head is alerted upon hitting an Enemy with a Basic Attack, and all are alerted after Ghastly Breath. Each projectile that hits the same target deals 20% less damage, but hitting an Enemy with all 4 Stuns them.

Ability Type: Area, Stun, Damage
Damage: 50 / 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 (+20 of your Magical Power)
Stun Duration: 1.4 / 1.5 / 1.6 / 1.7 / 1.8s
Range: 55
Cost: 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80
Cooldown: 13 / 12.5 / 12 / 11.5 / 11s

Ghastly Breath

2 A
Each of Cerberus's 3 heads releases a cone of noxious breath in front of them, damaging all enemies in range 7 times over 2.4s and reducing their Magical Protection up to three times. Enemies in the center of his breath are also Slowed up to three times. This attack immediately puts all three of Cerberus's heads on Alert for Paralyzing Spit.

Ability Type: Cone, Debuff, Damage
Damage Per Tick: 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 (+12.5% of your Magical Power)

Soul Expulsion

Cerberus leaps a short distance forward, dealing damage on impact and severing the souls of Enemies. These souls will not block Cerberus's attacks, and killing the souls heals Cerberus. Killing a God’s soul grants 2s reduced Cooldown on Soul Expulsion.

Stygian Torment

4 Y
Cerberus's haunting wail summons below him the souls of the damned, which then lift all Enemy Gods into the air while stretching the link between their bodies and souls, Damaging them. This knockup can be cleansed. A short time later, Cerberus uses this link to pull the Enemies to him. This attack immediately puts all three of Cerberus's heads on Alert for Paralyzing Spit.

Introduction

This is my first attempt at a "guide", but was more meant to showcase the build. My playstyle favors the Guardian role. If you're like me, sometimes it can get boring not doing damage that feels like throwing fruit loops at your opponents. However, anytime I play any damage Gods, I never receive the teamwork and support that I provide to others.

So I tried to pick a Guardian, that was sort of a bruiser, with good team fight presence and went to jungle practice.

My goal, was to find a build that provided me with the highest stats I needed(by the end of the game).

In-depth

So as a Guardian that needs to peel and CC I need CD for my abilities maxed. Going to be frontlining, eating abilities/active burning, so I want CCR maxed.

Obviously need a decent amount of defense, but the struggle was finding a decent amount of power to make it feel like I'm doing something.

So the thought process behind each item and almost necessary in this order(as an arena main). At the end of the build my stats are:
Power: 260(unbuffed)
Pen: 10
Physical Prots: 230
Magical Prots: 249
Health: 2,840(without Etheral Staff stacks)
Mana: 1,150
CDR: 40%
CCR: 40%

Tainted amulet upgrade- end game provides that last umph to your magical defense, more power, passive stacks with Cerb's passive.

Hide of Urchin- USE to be Gauntlet of Thebes, but was having severe mana issues. Provides the defense, health, mana, and a little bubble for initiating/ boxing.

Pridwen- that massive CDR boost, and some more survivability.

Spirit Robe- More CD, starting to build CCR, and the %dmg mitigation passive

Ethereal Staff- Finishing off CCR, starting to build power, passive makes you even tankier.

The last item needs power and to finish off my CDR. Originally, Soul Gem was my last item. Gave me some lifesteal sustain, power, CD, and a little AoE heal for my team. However, it felt lackluster aside from CD. So at the moment, I'm going Spear of Desolation for the power, CD, and the passive will get my abilities online quicker and more often, but the pen is nice too.

As an Arena main, with this build, something to note is to be a little careful until Spirit Robe. Until then it seems like I have to dip out a bit. But after Spirit Robe, I find myself able to stay in and spam/tunnel vision.

My favorite part about this build is that I originally made it for Cerberus. But because the nature and stats of it, it is interchangeable on any Guardian with the only downside is Tainted Amulet pairing with Cerb's passive.

Nice build | September 23, 2022 11:01pm
Actually one of the worst build I’ve used not gonna lie. Deals no damage and you get clapped in 2 seconds by the slightest crit build. It’s a no from me

Crit isn't meta regardless but for Solo/Conquest you could try Conduit (Focus) > Breastplate of Determination > Manticore Spikes > Oni Hunter's > Ethereal Staff > Spirit Robe
