First of all, English is not my main language so please excuse some of my grammar mistakes :)
Hi.. I'm not a high ranked(diamond and above) or pro player(cuz ı don't trust my current PC build and internet service for higher-ranked platform). I'm mostly a casual and golden ranked player and I'm almost at 9 mastery level with Chiron. Tho I'm not an advanced competitive Smite player at the same time ı watch and follow professional players, analysts, and educator streamers. And try to follow the current meta since 5.17.
I try to cover Artio in form of every role she can possibly play.
Artio is the only "stance swamp/switch" Guardian of the game. That makes her unique. She ain't have a classic appealing ultimate in terms of CC setup.
And she can't knock up, pull, grab, throw, wall. And cant stun you for long a time like Khumba or Fafnir or Geb.
Then what she is about? Artio covers all of these disadvantages with her super aggressive useful, impactful kit.
She has cripple, self-heal, team heal (little tho), protection shred (via both passive and 2 abilities), slow, long dash, stun. Maybe she ain't have any hard or long process CC. But she has tons of quick process soft CC and for a guardian, she can deal damage A LOT!
Let's start this!
PASSIVE
Her passive is the key reason that peals her as an aggressive guardian. She can deal damage and Cuz of her attacks, the target could be melted by the carry while under the effect of Artio's passive.
Ability #1
Her Druid 1 is her main self-sustain/team&self heal ability. You can pull off clutch heals with that.
Her Bear 1 is her main damage and cqc ability also a great way to proc your passive.
Ability #2
These two abilities are her main engagement tools and CCs.
With her Druid #2, she can cripple and debuff enemies. That allows team combos for your team.
Her Bear Form #2 can stun an enemy and self-buff her protections.
So as you can see these two are Artio's main setup and mid-engagement tools.
Ability #3
In Bear form her #3 is her main escape and also the main engagement starter tool.
In her Druid form, her #3 has self-heal and 1s root if you can land all of your 5 ticks. This is her 2nd main damage option. And since u can levitate with this ability and track targets. You're immune to knock up effects.
In bear form, if you hit with it to an enemy it would slow %30. And remember Her dash has a heavy damage option too (at the fullest 270 + %50 of your magical power). It's no joke.
ULTIMATE
Her #4 is her shapeshifting gear. And have a very straightforward passive that ı don't need to elaborate more.
Since Artio is a guardian about fast pace cqc interraction. She has many combos to pull off.
Short Combos:
Bear 2 + Bear 1 = Stun&Amp Self Protection + Damage
Bear 3 + Bear 1 = Slow&Damage + Damage (procing passive)
Bear 2 + Druid 1 = Stun&Amp Self Protection + Damage & Healing
Bear 2 + Druid 3 = Stun&Amp Self Protection + 5 Tick Damage & 1s root &self heal
Druid 2 + Druid 3 = Cripple%Debuff on Enemy + 5 Tick Damage & 1s root &self heal
Mid Combos:
Druid 2 + Bear 2 + Druid 3
(cripple&debuff on enemy + stun & Self Proctection Amp + 5 Tick Damage & 1s root &self heal)
Druid 2 + Bear 2 + Bear 1
( cripple&debuff on enemy + stun & Self Proctection Amp + Damage&Protection Shred)
Bear 3 + Druid 2 + Bear 1
( Slow & Damage + Cripple%Debuff on Enemy + Damage&Protection Shred )
Bear 3 + Druid 2 + Druid 1
( Slow & Damage + Cripple%Debuff on Enemy + Damage & Healing)
Bear 3 + Druid 2 + Druid 3
( Slow & Damage + Cripple%Debuff on Enemy + 5 Tick Damage & 1s root &self heal)
Long Combos:
Bear 3 + Druid 2 + Druid 1 + Bear 2 + Bear 1 + Druid 3
Druid 2 + Bear 2 + Bear 1 + Bear 3 + Bear 2 + Druid 3
Druid 3 + Druid 2 + Bear 2 + Bear 1 + Bear 3 + Druid 1
Bear 2 + Bear 1 + Druid 2 + Druid 1 + Bear 3 + Druid 3
As Solo:
Be aggressive in the early game but don't start to spew your abilities on your opponent constantly w/o thinking. Cuz You're a mana hungry and ability dependent God. So once your mana out. You're dead meat.
Artio doesn't like to get behind in terms of level. Artio is one of the best and most versatile gods in the game but her biggest flaw is she can't live with getting behind (1 or 2 levels maybe ok but after 3 it's soooo hard to cover that gap). Also, she is not as strong as her Season 5 version(still strong tho). She is still an SPL material but not as use to. Be careful. You cant just early 1 v 4 and call it a day like the old days of her :D
She can be one of the best bully/bruiser solo gods in the game but also must be aware that your combos are interruptable and you ain't have any type of CC immunity in your kit. Also, be careful about late game gods like Osiris and Amaterasu. Especially gods like Osiris, Hercules, Cthulhu can interrupt your combo chains via his stun and slow.
You must be flexible for multiple builds cuz Artio is a god that you can make use of a lot of different items for her. The only key is stats are cdr, Mp5, and Mana other than that so many items will work for her.
Since you don't have a big ultimate and CC immunity you should avoid 3 v 1 or 4 v 1 situations, especially in the late game. You can be a 1 v 3 god in early to mid-game maybe but not for late game. Be careful, make sure your team follow up and cover your back.
As Support:
We already know that Artio is aggressive support so that's why her playstyle would be similar to her solo game play but this time you're also responsible to support and protect your carry and in late-game your all team.
This time adjust your combos for setups, not for bullying or boxing your enemy. You need to consider your positioning, try to give an open look for your ADC, and always keep your distance reachable to your ADC.
You've 2 types of heals and protection buff. You can perform clutch surviving performances. Use them wisely. I don't think Artio should rotate a lot especially if you behind on levels. Cuz missing a couple of lanes could be vital for her but still due to the current meta Support is the 2nd most rotating role after Jungler. So rotate but don't linger around in the jungle. Farm from each lane that you visit. And make your team secure objectives.
As Jungler;
You don't have burst damage as other "real" junglers but you have a lot more self-sustain and cc chains. So use this for bullying other Junglers especially in the early game. Since you don't have an ultimate your ganks should be situational picks.
Your first 2-3 level clear could be a bit difficult but after then that you will be just fine.
Artio is a jungler type that needs assistance. I mean if you can secure mid lane minions and then You try to take your mid laner with you to gank a lane. In this way, Artio probably would shine even more cuz of her setup skills. Because she is not a pure executioner like assassins or mages but she can set up a lot of team fights. So that's why make sure that your team also rotate and communicate with you. This way, Artio can perform her best as a jungler and playmaker. But she is a veeeeery niche pick. Remember that.
CONS:
- Easy to play, kinda bit harder to master.
- All that stance swap processes could be frustrating and hard to pull off (especially with bad internet)
- Mana Hungry
- Ability Dependent
- Very bad for coming behind in terms of levels.
PROS:
- A lot of combo chains and setup tools
- High Damage for a guardian
- Decent Mobility
- High Self Sustain & Very hard to kill
- Versatility ( I Think you can pull off even mid lane role with her)
- She got multiple buffs recently. She is returning to her old days.

Nevertheless ı updated again with minor corrections, more options for builds etc etc. I hope you enjoy.
I main supp, Artio was the last Guardian i didnt Mastery and it's done with this guide !
2 Games in conquest, 2 victory, here's my screen.
You rock !
Really good Artio guide !
As for some of the notes on your support builds (at least for my laptop) they don't fit on the screen because they've got so much to say. Im specifically referencing the "Against (mostly) Magical Team Comp (late game)" and "Against (mostly) Physical Team Comp (late game)" Perhaps this could be fixed by making a separate section for that information, because there is quite a bit there.
You've been around my builds and have probably seen how I feel about
Overall, it looks pretty good to me from what I know about Artio, and you do acknowledge why that she's an aggressive support, which validates the large amounts of aggressive items you like to build. I might have to play some artio just to see how much damage she does for myself!
P.S. I know you said your English isn't too great, but instead of "Stance swamp", you may be looking for "stance swap" A personal favorite of mine though is "stance dance"
Actually ı build Pytha's Piece but not frequently as it looks tho. Its maybe not a core item but more like a situational one. But when ı build that, ı really enjoyed. Cuz my Druid #3 has self heal and has 5 tick damage and Pytha's lifesteal make this even better. Pytha also gave me health, CDR but biggest part of Pytha is its passive. Its more like Hades or Ares item actually generaly u can saw on'em but ı think it could work on Artio, specialy when you have lifesteal heavily teammates on your team (like Camazotz, Anubis, Cernunnos, Merlin, Hades, etc) . It make your team even more powerful. Also its a bit counter(ish) for enemy's possible anti-heal counter.
But ı wouldnt put that item as a "Core Item" on Artio. Its a personal one.
And about blessings. I didnt put'em only for conquest. But yeah ı should've make it more clear that part. But since ı didnt put any of those "non-conquest" blessings in my starter builds. Thats kinda mean ı dont put'em for conquest.
Thanks for the feedback anyway.
