Welcome to my second build here on SmiteFire, I hope you all benefit from this.
Upon trying Ravana for the first time last week, I have dedicated time to play and develop my build for him. Personally I feel that he is underrated as a Warrior, he is rarely played, but those that are good at him can ruin the enemy team. In my opinion, taking advantage of his passive is the best way to play him as this enables him to stay in the fight for longer.
Chain of Blows
Successful basic attacks and abilities add to Ravana's Combo Chain. Each time his Chain reaches 8 he receives a shield equal to 5% of his maximum Health. This may stack up to 3 times.
This passive is pretty good for staying in a fight, be that 1 vs 1 or a team fight. Combine your stacks with use of your second ability Overhead Kick and you can be rather difficult to kill whilst putting in a large amount of damage.
Prana Onslaught
Ravana throws a powerful punch, projecting his prana with it to damage and slow all enemies in front of him.
Once this ability is levelled up, your damage output is greatly increased as the scaling is pretty nasty along with 80% from your power.
Overhead Kick
Ravana performs a high kick, sending a shockwave forward to damage all enemies in a line and rendering him CC and damage immune during the action.
An immune, nice and simple. Though late game, it can be a deadly finisher. It works pretty fast, so you need to time the ability well. If you're using this to finish a kill, be careful as the cooldown is a little high.
10-Hand Shadow Fist
Ravana's fists fly forward, damaging and passing through minions and damaging and rooting the first god hit. Ravana heals for each enemy hit - with maximum damage sources of one god and up to three minions.
One of the reasons I fell in love with Ravana. This skill is by far your best wave clear and it is also the best way to initiate a fight without your ultimate. Rooting the enemy to the ground as you run in is a great way to stop them from escaping, following up with your Prana Onslaught is a great way to stop the enemy from escaping at all.
Mystic Rush
Ravana leaps to a target location, damaging all enemies in range. The center-most target is then linked to Ravana, doing full damage to him while all other gods do reduced damage.
Your ultimate is pretty good, so long as you do hit an enemy, though if you can, ensure that you hit someone that has a lower damage output. This is your best way to take a beating before you need to get out of there. Actively a leap, this ability can breach the gap between you and the opponent whilst dealing a good amount of damage.
Thank you for reading this guide. I understand it's not as flashy as other guides, though I personally prefer the basic, easy to read format.
Take Care and see you in game.
