This is my very first guide, so I'm sure a goofed somewhere. If you see anything I messed up on, help me out! Also, I suggest getting "Mediation" on your first back. The only MP5 in this build is at the very end, so it's a good idea to grab that. Another thing, because he's so squishy once he's out of his heal, you might want to grab sprint.
This is a guide assuming you're going up against a team with more physical. If they have more magical, switch out "Mystic Mark" with your preferred magical protection item. This was just something I tried out, I don't normally play Ra like this. This build comes out to have 405 magical power. Plus the 25% boost from the "Rod of Tahuti" it's about 500. If you're going to switch out the "Mystic Mark" for something like the "Void Stone" you could get even higher.
To some this might seem a bit stupid, and that you'd die in an instant. But, keep in mind that Ra's heals are based around his magical power. And that's what this build really focuses on.
When using Ra in general, it's never a good idea to engage in a battle without your heal up. Don't forget that the heal is also a buff to you, and a debuff to them. So, should they be stupid enough to walk into you're ring, they will be debuffed and damaged. You being buffed, healed, and getting the lifesteal damage, are at a HUGE advantage. At that point you need throw off your 2. You need to wait for it slow them down, then either ult or use your 1. If this doesn't kill them you have to wait for your abilities to get back up, or if they're low enough chase them.
If you're new to Ra, he's a great jungler. But only jungle if you've killed the guy in your lane and don't want to overextend. When approaching the buff, pop your 2, then 3, then 1. Do it in that order, if you do that your 3 buff will buff you for your abilities, and heal you from the damage. I normally only grab damage, but the cooldown buff is also good.
Ra is amazing with his team. But you play him as a SUPPORT with your team. You are there to be in the back and wait for your moment. Heal your team members and make sure they don't get in a pinch. If one's being followed by a lone enemy, then use your 2 to slow the enemy down and your 3 to heal your teammate.
