Hello and welcome to my Rajin, Master Of Thunder guide! First and foremost, i want to let everyone know that this is my FIRST guide so criticism is welcomed!
This is also a work in progress and i will update if i find easier methods.
Pros:
- Incredible burst
- Good wave clear / intimidate
- Great situational Ultimate
Cons:
- Your main source of burst damage causes you to expend your only escape
- Ultimate reduces movement speed incredibly, making you an easy target.
Now for the fun part.
While having your passive ready, be sure to catch your enemies with Raiju then immediately use your Thunder Crash afterwords. This will deal INCREDIBLE damage.
Your enemies will be taking damage from Raiju, both damages from Thunder Crash and the passive. If combo'd on enemies without any defensive items, it will GUARANTEE an instant kill in the end game.
Since you'll be able to withstand some damage, don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. You will want to get close enough to hit your target with Raiju so you can Thunder Crash. With this build, you can play aggressive against your enemies, enabling you to get your combos off.
I've had a fair amount of success with this build myself. Rajin is a great God that can deal a large amount of damage in a flash. He has good mobility from his leap.
His ultimate can be used to save teammates, get you kills or get your teammates kills. It's very versatile and one of the most strongest in the game when used correctly.
Rajin will remain one of my favorite gods because of his kit.
There definitely is a learning curve to his skills so it might be tough if you don't have experience with him.
Most of his abilities are slow acting so you have to learn how to know when to place properly.

I'm not saying spear of desolation is bad, i just see a lot of people incorporating it with magic burst builds that really dont utilize it for it's true potential when there is another item that is best in slot.
This build is for Joust as it is in the name at the top.
Being vulnerable in your ultimate is something i put in the cons for this God. that's very important.
The reason i use Spear instead of Soul Reaver is because of the extra penetration and its passive. Having that extra CD is cructial because 8 seconds shaves a good amount of time for you to get your Thunder Crush back up and escape. I have experimented with Soul Reaver and it's VERY strong when you ULT, but the CD on the passive is quite long and you don't have the hard penetration shred as you would with Spear of Desolation. Just my flavor though.
Thanks for the feedback and i will add Soul Reaver to the guide.
A few things/changes:
1. What game mode/modes is this build being utilized for?
2.A wise tip to new Raijin players would be to explain that you can die in your ult so placement and caution is required when using it. While you are cc immune you can still be killed rather quickly even while ulting.
3.I personally recommend maxing Raiju 1st as he is the source of your combo burst and you should always try to be skill shotting marked targets (Like Hou Yi)
4.Spear of Desolation is okay but is being widely abused for it's simple "high numbers", people see it and think "Hey this is really strong!" but is it truly beneficial to the build. I personally take Soul Reaver instead for it's passive, with Raijin combo ability or ult power, it's passive pretty much promises a wipe on unsuspecting targets or those over extending the chase.
