Normal/Ranked Aphrodite Support God! (Detailed lane Partners guide Fat Man Patch 0.1.1705)

There are too few words to describe the radiance, the magnificence, the inequitable glory of Aphrodite, Goddess of Beauty. So wondrous is she to behold that one look can inspire tears, desire, jealousy, and love. Yet, beneath her flawless exterior resides a heart burdened with insecurity.

Inattentive and hideous to look upon, her husband, Hephaestus, unknowingly leaves Aphrodite feeling lonely and worthless. She finds consolation in the arms of other men such as Ares, or validation by competing in any contest of beauty she encounters.

At a wedding attended by all the Gods, a golden apple appeared, inscribed with the words "to the fairest." Immediately Aphrodite, her mother Hera, and sister Athena quarreled over it. Zeus elected Paris, Prince of Troy, to choose a victor. In exchange for being named the fairest, Aphrodite offered any woman in the world as his wife, so Paris agreed. However, he chose Helen as his wife, and their love began the catastrophic Trojan War.

Now, a new war brews, but this one between Gods, not men. While the battlefield is no place for the fairest of all, Aphrodite recalls the destruction between the Greeks and Trojans. Perhaps, this time, her beauty can be used to stop a war instead of start one. Perhaps, this time, she will discover the beauty within.

Gaining Aphrodite's favor is a blessing in that 30% of all mana gained by Aphrodite is granted to her soul mate.

Aphrodite blows a kiss to an allied god, making them her soul mate and giving them both increased movement speed. If the kiss hits an enemy god, they are stunned and Aphrodite's soul mate gets jealous, making them deal increased damage.

Agitated by all the attention, Aphrodite commands enemies to get away from her, doing damage around her and knocking them back. If Aphrodite has a soul mate, they get agitated instead, and the damage originates on them, dealing the same damage and slowing.

Aphrodite calls forth a flock of beautiful doves that fly forward in the area in front of her. The doves circle around all enemies in the path, damaging enemies every .5s for 3s. Aphrodite and her soul mate are healed for the same amount.

Aphrodite pledges undying love to herself and her Soul Mate. While this is active, her and her Soul Mate are invulnerable to all damage for a short duration. All crowd control effects are also removed when activated.

I Find this Item Kinda of a Must Have as an aphro purely becuase it can happily keep you and your partner in lane until you either need to B to buy and active or full set of boots!.

This I pick up for the obvious Movement speed bonus and what the penetration you ask simply becuase later in game we will be picking up chornos pendent and thats about all we need CDR item wise!

This with the new Patch i find very strong with Aphro becuase health CDR and Movement speed is something a God with no real escape thrives with and that passive only helps her More when in a tricky situation!

So Now we are capped at 35% CDR Bring her love birds kiss and back off all down to around 7-9s! this makes her so good with goods like anubis/guan/anybody witha stun that can follow up with damage, also by now you will have your back off! lvled up to deal a nice amount of damage to more than help your ally finish off an enemy god.

PASSIVE - Enemies hit by your basic attacks will move 25% slower for 2 seconds.

This is another Key item when Supporting as a mage the combined slow from your back Off! and Gem of Binding when with a partner is a Deadly combo and if your ally can stun also make your Comp feel very OP!

PASSIVE - Increases magical power by 25%.

Now you have almost all you need to be an epic support if the game is running this late you get a chance to see how much dmg output Back Off! can do hitting between 400-550! on enemy gods! taking a 1/4 of an enemy Gods health whilst slowing and stunning! your ally cannot ask for more.

Simple No just NO! Sure grab a Mana buff late game ect but never enter a conquest with the intention to jungle. This defeats the point of a support class.

Here I Rate every God out of ten, one being a partner who is good to lane with and 10 the best Gods to lane with a short comment on why i think this.

Pros:
Lots of CC
Agni will benefit early game with your meditation and Soul mate buff

Cons:
both Squishy
wont get the best from Back Off Ability
Both magic doing magic damage Makes and enemy tanks life a lot easier


Slayer of Enemies
Rating 7/10

Pros:
Magical and Physical works well in a single lane
good amount of slows and CC and a leap

Cons:
wont get the best from Back Off Ability


God of the Dead
Rating 8/10

Pros:
High Amount of Aoe clears minions extremely quick
Epic CC Chain/dmg out put using Kiss to help Land mummify followed witha back off Grasping hands and loctus swarm is pretty much any good dead!

Cons:
Can both get blown up In a single ult if caught off guard
No escapes
good communication is required from both parties (harder when in a pug)

good Mana Regen that can help push waves

no real chances to use Back Off
Double Magical is easy for a tank to counter

apollos slide into a Back Off is really strong
clear minions waves easy
Kiss And Serenade help aphro get out of hard spots
Apollo ult is useful for help with ganks in mid lane/jungle

In summary Aphrodite in My opinion Is still with all the updates the best Support god Currently available.

She can Bring CC (kiss & Back off slow), Sustain (Passive) and Survivabilty (Ulti & Love Birds). with all this being said You still need to be very Map aware and not get cuaght out By ganks.
