Dear Reader, I'm asking you to choose now:

Here you have 2 pills: if you choose the first one, you will stay in your "comfortable" world that you got used to. In this world - Ymir is a dumb fat tank whose role - to stun, take damage and die..
So if you think that you already know EVERYTHING about Smite and the metagame for the next few years, please choose this pill, and close this guide for ever.
The second pill will help you to see an explanation to rare thing that you probably faced once... when a "tank" carrying the game with his damage, saving a whole team with insane crowd control skills and is still crazy fat for a usual mage.

If you want to know how to make Ymir a killing machine, which is able to 1-1 against ANY god in game, and much more usefull in team fight than most of gods... Chose the second pill and keep reading.

Short introduction

Ymir is my the most played god (rank 10 long ago), and i tried every single way to play him. As duo lane support, as solo laner, full tank, semi-tank, jungler...
After crazy ammount of time invested in tests, build creation, practice, I've found the way how to make Ymir totally OP as people say after another game ends.
I guess it's ok to have 15-20 kills and 1-3 deaths as baka or chronos. Sure thing. But what about crowd controll "tank"?
Well, 3 of my today's games finished with: 9-0 18-2, 33-1 results (the last game was 4-5 where we had 4 players). Screenshots are included.

Pros

+ CRAZY DAMAGE - Get ready to be at the top of player damage screens (1-3 position for me). Early, mid game you will be able to deliver huge ammount of damage in 2-3 secs with your 2 basic skills + auto atack (which is buffed from Ymir's passive with 100%). Late game with this build you will be able to deal 2400 dmg with your ultimate, 800 damage every 4.8 seconds with your second, and 900 dmg with auto atack (passvie + poly).
+ AOE SPAMABLE CROWD CONTROL - this is where Ymir shines the most. If you will learn to use your Wall to avoid damage, engage, chase, set ambushes and save allys - it can turn the game curse. Add to this an aoe slow every 5-8 seconds from your 2nd + aoe 2.5secs stun + aoe slow field from the ultimate and you get the best aoe cc god in game.
+ Fast cooldowns
+ Avarege mobility - enough to get 33-1-20, 18-0-10 and any other good results (will include some screenshots)

Cons

- Not the best lane sustain in game;
+- You have to play as mage instead of "tanky-style"

Some screenshots

Just to make you understand the ammount of damage and sustain
31-1 top 1 damage, 19-0, 9-0
