Awilix Build

Recommended build

Notes Swap shoes for mantle after buying speed potion in late. Soul eater is a cheap power source that you can finish early, it stacks itself as you play. Brawler for the anti-heal, can be swapped for either Jotunn's Wrath or Crusher in absence of healers in enemy team (rarely the case). Bloodforge will offer a kick to your abilities and helps with survivability if you get a kill. Heartseeker is broken on Awilix, must buy.

Items to consider

Notes Couple of items to consider, Arondight can be swapped for Bloodforge, though not recommended. Breastplate is if you have a persistent physical enemy who is focusing you (say a loki-boi) from early, build instead of brawler. Transcendence is difficult to stack in Arena, but if you can, be my guest. Void and Runic are self explanatory, runic might be useful against a He-bo for instance.

Relics to consider

Notes Generally I go puri + shell, or horrific emblem when I want to be a little more aggressive. Sanctuary is for your consideration but I'd rather go for shell to protect team mates also when possible.

Summon Suku

1 X
Awilix mounts her Panther Suku, gaining movement speed but decreasing strafe speed. Awilix may leap off of Suku to deal damage to all enemies in the target area.

Canceling this ability before leaping will not trigger its Cooldown.

Ability Type: Mount, Leap
Damage: 80 / 135 / 190 / 245 / 300 (+80% of your Physical Power)
Movement Speed: 30%
Strafe Penalty: 30%

Feather Step

2 A
Awilix flips over the last enemy she hit within 1.5s, rooting, crippling, and dealing damage as she passes over them. The damage dealt is modified based on the next attack in Awilix's basic attack progression. If the next attack is her third attack, then she also hits all targets in the area around her.

Ability Type: Leap
Damage: 45 / 80 / 115 / 150 / 185 (+50% of your Physical Power)
Attack Progression Bonus: 1x/1.5x/2x

Awilix calls upon the power of the moon, immediately pulling to her the closest enemy god she is facing that is either leaping or knocked up into the air. The target god takes damage when they land. Awilix is then bathed in moonlight, gaining bonus Attack Speed and Physical Power, along with protection against Roots, Slows, and Knockbacks for 6s.

Ability Type: Stim

Introduction

Welcome Gods and Goddesses,
Awilix has seen some minor buffs to her "suku" and "feather-step" that have made her illogically powerful and put her back in my favorite assassins list after a long hiatus. She floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee, and that's exactly the strategy to use when playing her in Arena if you follow this build.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
- Suku movement speed.
- Monster burst damage if you chain her skills correctly.
- Moonlight dove skin.
- Great passive for early game ganks.

Cons:
- As squishy as they come.
- CC will be the death of her.
- Has no escape if she burns her 1 diving in.
- Her ult combo is hard to land and takes time to master.

Combos

First Combo:
Dive on enemy with your 1 when he's out of position or with no team mates, basic attack to activate Hydra's passive, Feather step, then another basic attack. If enemy try to run, try to hit him with the 3.

Second Combo:
If you can land your 3 and manage to get an enemy in the air, activate your ult, then basic attack, feather step then basic attack, if enemy tries to run, finish him by diving on him with your 1.

Third (ultimate) combo:
Dive on enemy with your 1, auto attack, make sure they are facing you, use your 2 then immediately your 3 before he has a chance to turn, he will be lifted in the air, use your ult, then basic attack.
This satisfying combo is for when you want to end someone's Smite career.

Summary

With Awilix you play the role of a predator prowling in wait for the enemy to make a mistake, or veer off his team mates or be out of position, or retreating. This is when Awilix shines the brightest.
Stay away from ***bas, they will mess you up. Tanks Generally. Focus on diving the backline when appropriate and with enough support if needed.
I believe in you Gods and Goddesses of the moon. Most importantly have fun with her.. and oh get Moonlight dove skin.
