Mercury moves in the blink of an eye, dealing one melee attack to every enemy within the target area. This ability can Critically Hit, and triggers Ability related Item effects, not Basic Attack related Item effects.

Mercury dashes forward, knocking aside minions, grabbing the first enemy god he encounters and spinning them. The enemy god takes damage until the effect ends, and Mercury throws the god in the direction of his choice.

Sonic Boom

4 Y
Mercury gathers energy for a powerful dash, with the range extending as he does so. He travels the distance faster than the speed of sound, dealing damage to all enemies, stunning them and spinning them around in a random direction.

Ability Type: Dash
Damage: 200 / 275 / 350 / 425 / 500 (100% of your Physical Power)
Disorient Duration: 1.5s
Cost: 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 / 120
Cooldown: 100s

Early Game, pretty important stuff.

For the starter items, obviously you buy the lowest tier of them to use the 1500 at the beginning of the game. Typically, Mercury is pretty squishy especially in the beginning. Sprint will combine with his general passive which basically makes him stronger as he gets faster. It is important to keep you distance and play smart. You could also run around and gank for early kills but I wouldn't recommend it unless your first strike is charged up good and you got your actives ready to go for a quick attack and hasty retreat.

Mercury's Build

Buy all of the other items in that order pretty much.

Ability Usage

As for his ability use, what I like to do is lurk on a lane, find a poor unfortunate soul, Sonic Boom him into oblivion, get him with the Special Delivery, and use that Maximum Velocity to beat them down! If they managed to take it and are running off, use the Made you look ability, remember to use those actives, and chase 'em down.

Good luck, Have fun!
