Mercury gathers energy for a powerful dash, with the range extending as he does so. He travels the distance faster than the speed of sound, dealing damage to all enemies, stunning them and spinning them around in a random direction.

Ability Type: Dash
Damage: 200 / 275 / 350 / 425 / 500 (100% of your Physical Power)

Why?

Well the reason why I build him lifesteal is simple
He plus 70% lifesteal=tank
All the items are good I would also recommend hydra's Lament

Honestly this build is not taking advantage of him at all. You realize that with asi, or with fatalis, he goes over the attack speed cap when using Maximum Velocity so he doesn't need the other one, or Qin's Blades. Also he's not that mana hungry, so Meditation isn't good on him, and Purification Beads is a situational item. I'm respecting your ideas, but I suggest you revise your build.

I wouldn't consider this your first guide, I would consider it your first build. Instead of "WIP," please put "Build Only" (every guide immediately after a new god is released is going to be a work in progress). Sections informing the reader on:
1. The pro's and con's.
2. When and how to use the skills
3. Beneficial items and actives (as well as explaining why)
4. The general playstyle.

Are, in my opinion, essential to a guide. Builds are all fine and dandy (although I think sections regarding arguments for choosing the items should be included), but it should be very clear in your title that it is not a true guide.

i think you didnt put as much effort into a guide like everyone else does... maybe more details would enhance it
