Medusa aka Sharon Stone

This is my first guide so dont be too harsh.

This is how i build Medusa for an Arena match. It seems to work pretty well. The main point of the build is to hit quick, often, and like a truck. It doesn't lean to heavily on either of the three main hunter wants: power, crit, or speed. It is more a comfortable blend of them with some mana for her abilities. Also, take the time to always go get an attack speed jungle buff. It is better for this build than the power or mana.

These are the reasons for the items.

Ninja Tabai: work a little better for this build than the warrior ones. The mana boost works welk in the early game for medusa.

Rage: i prefer this crit item because it makes your crit chances get to a guaranteed point. Again, attack speed buff is your fried for this reason. Getting the crit item early game gets more kills early.

Hastened Fatalis: this item turns medusa into a nightmare of an opponent. With her passive of sidewind and this, have fun chasing down enemies or escaping abilities with a simple spammed basic attack. And you will be spamming it for your next item -

Transcendence: this item is just crazy op for medusa. She is a mana ***** so the mana boost and stack bonus and also passive bonus are too good to pass up. This is the main attack power item for this build.

Wind Demon: another crit item. Okay power and high crit %. The passive is the key. Everytime you crit, your attack speed goes up. More attacks = more crits.

Ichaival: more attack speed = more attacks, the penetration is nice if they are trying to protect against you. And the passive boosts your power and takes their physical down, perfect for endgame.

Again, this build is purely offense item build but very strategic usage of arena and abilities. For your 6th item you can also think of using Deathbringer, Odysseus Bow, Qin's Sais, Heartseeker. Pretty much, 6th spot is kinda up to you. I just found this works well for me.

Purify: everyone hates CC. Medusa is pretty squishy so the main times she gets killed is when she gets stunned or rooted. Use this and she can usually get away if your dash ability is up.

Frenzy: late game i like to boost everyo es damage for a good set up toa three god Petrify stare. Using this makes it way easier to team kill and that is what arena is all about.

Other useful ones are Meditation for heals, sanctuary for escapes, and sprint for those even speedier kills.

Its whatever on the way you build the abilities. I usued the basic build forever and it worked fine. It is how you use them.

3 shot/poison:Always use your three shot coming out of the fountain. You will recharge your mana and have the shots ready. The cooldown doesnt start till you launch the third. Use this to poison fleeing gods for the tower dive kill.

Acid spray: this sprays a ball of acid for short diatance that cones out when it hits a minion or god. Use this as the minion clearer. The best thing is you can use this over the 3 shot.

Dash and slash: you do a short dash and at the end slashes for hardly any dmg but it stuns a god if hit. I use this as an escape route first and foremost. If you use this to rush into three gods going for that kill, you will prob die before you get it. Save this for the dash back to fountain to save yourself.

Petrify: this is how you set up kills. Wait till 3 gods are coming against your 3 gods, then petrify them. It takes a little second and if your enemy is good then they can turn around and dodge it but i get way more looking than i dont. You can also use this as an escape if your are being hunted by a couple of gods. Petrify them then dash away.

Passive: Medusas passive is by far her shining trait. She moves sideways the same speed as frontward. Her backwards movement is also only slightly effected. With the Hastened Fatalis she moves around vetter than almost any other god. You can run backwards firing at gods and almost always kill them before they get to you, or they turn around and run.[/code]
