So the basic thing you need to know about Agni is that you can kill someone really quickly or you can die really quickly. It's important to know how to take advantage of your opponent being out of position. But the build you see here will help secure kills and never have to play catch up with other "meta" gods. This build focuses maximizing your damage and staying relatively cheap allowing you to transition correct.
Make sure to use Agni's passive as this allows Spear of Magus to take up to 50 protections away from your opponent allowing you to do great burst damage. You can simply hit opponent with 1/3 halos you have let spear of magus passive do it's job and you can Angi combo for the kill while spear of magus passive is still up (5 seconds from first ability)
Late game your timing doesnt matter as you will switch out Magus for O. Shard but early game timing is key. Tip: play cat and mouse with your opponent.
