About this build

This build was created when Merlin reigned supreme in all his broken glory. I was tired of being out-damaged constantly, so I made this build. It's been modified since and has proven to be the best build I've ever used on Jing Wei.

This build is designed for ARENA and JOUST, I cannot vouch for its performance in any other modes.
There are NO alt items on this build because I never use them, but you may want to add some regardless.

I know you've stated that this is mainly for Arena and Joust, Casey, but you still need for dealing with tanks and objectives. You can probably get away without it in Arena if there aren't any enemy tanks, but both you and your team will appreciate it regardless.

The lack of the penetration of worries me when using this build. this pretty much allows the bruiser/tank to zone you from the fight or run you down on his own (if you say but then I jump towards their dps you will be focused by all of them).

is not really that core anymore, but imo still better than . If you really want cooldown reduction I think you're still better of picking up .

All in all you start of building fairly well, however the lack of replacement for the core/staple AA hunter item: is going to have me downvote this.

would god devo/bloodforge or ichiaval over trans. Yes trans may have the highest damage late game . First option provides you with more flexibility other is just a non stacking substitude.

would move exe up 5th slot is a bit late most games.
rage qin's can work pretty well, dunno if I would pick up DB late instead of TB depends on enemy team
