Introduction

Hey everyone thanks for clicking on this guide. I know you are all itching to play so im going to keep this guide brief. If you are still reading this boring intro, please leave suggestions on what to add and elaborate on in the comments below. Thank you.

This is my first guide and it is VERY brief because it is not an in depth guide. I am not yet good enough to tell others how to play perfectly, I can only say what I do and what you can do to have the same success as me. If you read through the whole guide and chose to ignore everything I have said. Thank you for the view on the guide and I hope you find an even better guide than this.

If you have any input to this guide, feel free to comment on how I have gone wrong or parts that need more detail. Just note that this is supposed to be a brief guide because I want other people to make a way they are comfortable with and discover new things so I will not be giving strict instructions I will just be noting down what I do and what I have had success with.

Why should you play him?

I suggest you to play Ao Kuang if you are struggling to win games due to troll teammates. Ao Kuang is a very good Hyper Assassin , this means that he can completely delete a member of their team if they are caught out of position. The reason why Ao Kuang is so strong (my opinion) is his ult. His ult is an execute meaning that it will instantly kill someone if they are below a % health threshold, not only does that mean that the tanky guardians won't escape on a stupidly low hp because you can't damage them and your adc is not building penetration (every single game) but you can also decide on a landing zone. This means that you can get out of trouble after a kill by quickly going behind your team BUT it also means that you can chase the squishy adc and assassin with ease.

You may be able to get fed (i have few games played but i will update at a later time when i have more experience with Ao Kuang)

The Basics

Reasoning for taking 2 over 3

I like to max my 2 first because i play aggressive to get the early kills and the fights usually don't last long enough to spam your 3

Picks

Don't ALWAYS pick off someone if they are out of position, they might be baiting you. But if you see a good target like chronos go for a buff, you can follow him and do 2,1,3,4 if needed. This will put you ahead and then you can bully the poor chronos for money because he was put behind (don't be afraid to bully for kills but don't get too greedy)

Teamfights

When a team fight breaks out you need to position yourself so you can take out their ranged support. Usually the attention will swap to you, so you may want to use your ult to make them refocus and then just dive on and destroy your next target if you are confident enough. (Beware of troll teammates and take care when greeding)

Build

Chop and change it as you see fit but I like this build and it works for me. I usually take second rank boots and first rank of talon and recall as soon as i can afford the full boots. Doing this early will give you +40 power on your first back and will help starting a kill because you will be full hp etc.
The rings are a MUST HAVE because they make his basic attacks stupidly fast and strong with some magic protect as well
The witchblade can be swapped for a hastened fetalis if needed but i like the protections on witchblade and the great debuff that counters your main threats, adcs and assassins
You can scrap my build if you really like and change parts of it but this is just the one that i like and works for me.

Positioning

When I play joust I usually stay behind my team and wait for a pick, or if im with a friend we make a plan depending on the other team (evaluate burst dmg, cc and general annoyance). If I am not in lane then i usually roam around the side jungles picking up the damage buff for more damage. Also by doing this you can appear behind them invisible if they are overextended with no wards meaning that you might be able to win a team fight if your teammates decide to ever help. Also being in the jungle might open up a good chance to pick up some kills (people sometimes get buffs before they recall while on low hp, why? I dont know).

Arena details coming as soon as i do not have a troll/feeding team

Conquest details coming as soon as i actually get jungle and not some kid instalocks bakasura jungle and goes 0/11 and i would also like a mid laner who knows what mid camps do and helps me get them.

Well considering his Dragon Call provides a 30% slow I'd say Hastened Fatalis isn't a COST EFFECTIVE pick for him (Not saying it isn't good). I'd definitely grab a Witchblade before I would grab a Hastened Fatalis on Ao Kuang.

I chose witchblade because it takes the edge of those pesky adcs attack speeds and damage they do to you, i suppose it is just a pick that i personally like but fatalis is a great item
