Introduction

Hello, welcome to my guide for one of my favourite characters, Sobek.
Now to me, at first, Sobek was the most useless character, and the most disregarded. But then I started to use him, and I was wondering why I hadn't been all this time. Sobek is one of the best supports in the game, has great CC and believe me, he is deadly and he can even solo left or right lane with the right build. I do hope that you enjoy this build, which you'd be surprised, actually works in destroying people's health.

Pro's and Con's of this build

Pro's: Great CC
Rips health
High sustain
Easy getaway
Black-Bar health (at full stacks)
He's a croc

Con's: Deoendijg on how you play him, can be mana hungry at the start
You can accidentally miss Charge Prey
Sometimes Sickening Strike doesn't deal enough heal and you may die
Ultimate is easy to miss, but just as easy to hit

What to build

I apologise, as this is my first time making a build and I do not know how to specifically tag items, so I will just list them below.

This is a damage gained health build, which means that the higher the health the more damage your physical/magical guardian deals. This also works perfectly with Ares AND Bacchus.

Start off with Shoes of the Magi.
Secondly, work your way into getting Hide of the Urchin.
Thirdly, get Warlock's Sash.
Fourth, Ethereal Staff.
Fifth, Bulwark of Hope.
Sixth, Midgardian Mail.

Actives: Buy these once the build has been finished. Greater Sprint and Greater Meditation, however switch out Meditation with Beads if the enemy has high CC.

Potions: I recommend buying mana potions once you have enough gold, he is definitely a mana hungry croco-butt.

Summary

Teamwork is not necessarily needed, Sobek can perfectly stay in lane himself, even with more than one enemy, and yes this is tough but it is possible, I've done it before with this build. Late game this build renders Sobek almost invincible, whilst also shredding enemy's health. This build works in every game mode that is available for Sobek to play. Honestly, I cannot believe I didn't give Sobek a proper chance. It was only during one assault match that I realised Sobek's potential, he is actually really fun, and with this build, I say to you all, good luck, and have fun~!
