Kali becomes an unstoppable force of destruction, creating a damage aura around her. During this time, she can be reduced to 1 Health, but cannot die. She is immune to Knockup, Slow effects, and protected from Root, but still vulnerable to Stuns. If Kali is under 15% of her total Health at the end of the duration, she will heal to 15% Health.

Guide Overview

Hello and welcome to my guide on a personal favorite build for Kali specifically for Arena.

This is my first guide and I mostly made it to add in my personal build and play-style for others to hopefully use to their advantage.

Firstly I will cover Kali and her role in the Arena, and then I will cover items and relics and how they work with Kali's play-style.



(The guide is not quite finished so please post any questions or comments and I will update the build as necessary)

Pros / Cons

PROs:

    Agile
    Fast Attack Speed
    Decent Crowd Control
    High Life Steal
    Some Bleed Damage
    3ish Escapes
    Can single out any god



CONs:
    Very Easy to Kill if Crowd Controlled
    Uses a lot of mana early game
    Poor timing on ultimate can render you defenseless

Skills

Reasoning for Ability Purchase Order:
For this build the most important aspect is crowd control, Incense and Frostbound
Hammer are your bread and butter. The more you can control them and buff yourself in the process, the better. Therefore I raise Incense as the first priority ability.

The second priority ability is your leap, which gives you the same percentage heal
with every level, so it is not as important to level as it does not scale in healing.
but the area damage it does receives 80% of your power so later game it is the
second most important ability to level

And the last priority ability is Lash, in other game modes this ability is more important for minion clearing and poking, but with arena its low scaling and low bleed are not worth it. The physical lifesteal does scale nicely but is not worth it until late in the game once you have high attack speed from Executioner and Qins Sais.

As for Destruction (Ultimate), level whenever available.

Marked For Death (Passive) Usage:
The usage of her passive is very situational, I would recommend targeting tanks and
Warriors first. Somewhat as a scare tactic but mostly due to the fact that when
you attack these high health enemies you can end up becoming over-extended and
needing the heal, whereas with mages, assassins, and hunters you can quickly
dispose of them without needing the help of your passive.

Combos:

Lash -> Incense -> Basic Attack -> Nimble Strike
This will be your most common early game combo, either use Nimble Strike to finish an enemy off or escape

Lash -> Nimble Strike -> Incense
This will be your most common late game combo, using Nimble strike to attack and close distance on enemies. By this point in the game enemies will be scared of your Frostbound Hammer/Attack Speed combo.

When to use Destruction:
Never use Destruction to initiate a fight or finish off a target, Destruction is simply a second Aegis that lets you attack. After you cast Destruction, you should be trying to escape unless you are soloing one enemy that is almost dead, preferably your marked target.

Items

Basically this build is about utilizing Frostbound Hammer to its full potential. As mentioned above it is important to get the four core items:

Ninja Tabi > Frostbound Hammer > Executioner > Qin's Sais

This is to constantly slow enemies as well as take out percentages of their health with each hit from Qin's Sais

I do not recommend adding crit as the last two items for this build, it does not increase the damage by a substantial amount and Kali makes better use of lifesteal to stay in the fight longer.

Lastly I would like to point out that Bracer of Undoing works miraculously with Kali in almost any combo or situation, just jump in and solo somebody and if it is a close fight just cast Bracer and keep swinging.
