Build Summary

Starter Items

Notes Probably wondering why I didn't add in Vampiric Shroud. It's simple really, you don't need it. Compared to the other starters, you're missing out on much more than just a tiny bit of lifesteal.

Conduit Gem
Great if you plan on playing a bit more aggressive earlier on in the match.
+30 Magical Power
+100 Mana
+10 MP5

Sands Of Time
I prefer SOT for the MP5 and Cooldown reduction.
+ 30 Magical Power
+ 10 MP5
+ 10% Cooldown Reduction

Example Build

Notes Magical Power
525 once everything is evolved. [Not including SOT or what it evolves into]

50% [Cap is 40, which means you could updgrade Sands Of Time to The Alternate Timeline instead of Pendulum Of Ages, which will give you more protections as well]

Magical Penetration
40%, [Which is the cap, regardless of which SOT you evolve into.]

7hp5 [Without including SOT or what it evolves into]
40mp5 [Without including SOT or what it evolves into]

Relics

Notes I ALWAYS grab Blink, regardless if I'm support, mid, solo or jungle or even ADC if you're risky enough.
It's great for engaging or disengaging. Nothing's more satisfying than blinking into an enemy god that thought they were safe, wrapping them, then ulting. Easy kills (๑•﹏•)

Beads are great against gods like Ares who heavily rely on cc to make use of their kit. So if your opponent is CC heavy, grab beads.

Aegis, ahhh. Saves you a few more seconds before dying. If done perfectly, you could place your 3rd ability down onto an enemy god or minions before popping Aegis. Allowing you time to heal back up and ready to continue the fight.
Or it could simply save you from a NuWa / Poseidon ult.

Optional Items

Notes Warlocks Staff
It's best to get it earlier in the game right after Charon's Coin so you can build stacks earlier in the game.
+85 Magical Power
+150 Health
+200 Mana
+10% Magical Penetration

Chronos Pendant
Need more cooldowns instead? Grab this, gives a nice chunk of power as well, but it's a bit pricey.
+100 Magical Power
+20 MP5
+20% Cooldown Reduction

Rod Of Tahuti
Power!!!! Jokes aside, more penetration is great as long as you don't go over the cap[40]. Also more MP5 will allow you to stay out longer than a Chang'e.
+140 Magical Power
+10% Magical Penetration
+30 MP5

Divine Ruin
Healer or a lifesteal user? Nahh, just grab this, you'll render the healer useless as long as you damage them.
+90 Magical Power
+10 Magical Penetration

Introduction

Heyo! My username is WhereIsMyPanda and I currently have almost 4 stars and 88 hours on Anubis!

I completely open to criticism and tips.
This is my first guide ever, I couldn't sleep so I gave up and decided to make a guide for other Anubis lovers~

I left notes on everything and tried my best to color code things.
Feel free to leave any comments :D

Skills

Skills

Passive: Sorrow:
30% Reduction To All Crowd Control Durations.
This Passive Is What Gives Anubis His Lifesteal.

First Ability: Plague Of Locusts:
Immune To Knockbacks.
Damages Enemies That Are Close.

Second Ability: Mummify:
Does 0 Damage But Instead Stuns An Enemy God.

Third Ability: Undying Grasp:
Causes a portal on the ground to open up, letting hangs come through and attack any enemy instead of the circle while slowing them down by 25%.

Ultimate: Death Gaze:
Imagine Superman's Lazer Beam, that's what this is. Anubis's ultimate can also go through walls and multiple enemies.

Pros / Cons

Pros/Cons

Pros:
- Has A Stun
- Great Amount Of Burst Damage
- Ultimate makes you CC immune
- First Ability makes you immune to knockbacks
- Passive has Lifesteal already

Cons
- No Escapes
- Poor Mobility
- Kit revolves mostly around Mummify (Second Ability)

Every Role Explained

Mid
Arguably Anubis's best role is Mid Lane.
Ward both sides of the jungle and you won't have to worry about being jumped by the jungler easily.
I prefer to get my third ability first in mid lane.
Unless you plan on being aggressive, you could go the first ability instead. Just make sure once you're laner is gone, you rotate to other lanes and try to land your wrap, hopefully securing a free kill for you or your ally.

Solo
Don't be afraid to hide under tower if needed, not all games are won by sheer kills.
Definitely build penetration if you're going against some form of a tanky God.
I always go for my 3rd ability first for Solo Lane.

Jungle
I normally start with my first ability right off the bat. I wouldn't recommend this role unless you land most of your wraps. That allows you to melt most assassins.

ADC
One of my favorite roles with Anubis, just make sure your support has some form of a stun and you'll be able to crush your opponents so long as you guys combo your stuns together.

Support
Please make sure your ADC is fine with you picking Anubis support. It works very well but people seem to dislike it whenever I do it. Regardless if we win or lose ಠ︵ಠ

Summary

Slightly sad ಥ-ಥ
I had 12,000 characters worth of work but the website glitched and I lost everything sadly.
I tried my best to remake everything so hopefully everything is here!
I'll do my best to keep an eye out for comments and tips so I can improve the guide more!

Thanks for taking the time to whoever reads this~
