What the F*** Are you doing? This Build sucks!

After over a year of playing Hercules in all 5 positions, I've decided to release my Solo Lane build for Hercules. The idea here is to focus on his strongest character trait: sustain. While he needs mana pots, NOT BLUESTONE YOU ARE WRONG, meditation and conservative play will allow you to stay in lane. The added lifesteal to his truck load of auto attack damage combined with his 3 makes him unkillable. Using this build, Hercules will dominate any other warrior in lane: for example a Chaac I just played went for the basic bruiser build and was half my power and only 30 protections higher than me 15 minutes in. By utilizing meditation and shield of the underworld, you give Herc further advantage in fights. The point of emphasis here is to keep your opponent pushed back enough to take tower. From tower you need to focus on taking his blue and getting yours around the 50 second marker of the stolen blue. The only time you need to back is to spend gold OR if you fail to conserve mana/steal the blue.
Utilizing this build, you should never lose to another warrior/guardian.
This build isn't a go to for all match ups. I do not condone its usage against assassins or mages. ENJOY
EDIT: Utilize extra health/mana pots as needed. The ET/SoG opening should provide enough mp5 alongside the blue to give you enough sustain.
EDIT 2: As of the 75 Stack Devo's, this build has lost almost all of its viability. Stick to more conventional methods. BLUESTONE IS STILL WRONG STILL.

I mained herc solo for a while, and I can't really agree with this build.
Active Issues: With the current meta (especially ranked and pro play) HOG is so important early, and a single early ward will give the enemy the info that you don't have HOG, and an invade will surely follow.
Teleport is the best active for sustaining farm, and once you have tankiness online you won't ever miss a wave of farm.

Item Issues Herc is so strong because his abilities don't scale well off physical power, but instead do insane amounts of damage off levelling, allowing him to build heavy tank/cooldown and still have insane damage. I've gotten 35k + player damage going full tank.

With Herc's combo life steal adds little to nothing. He will often get only 1 or 2 AAs in. You'd have to go fatalis to fully utilise life steal on herc.

Saying this I haven't tried this build out, but I'm still skeptical.

I can't say I agree with meditation and later Salvation. This build is already really susceptible to healing reduction as it is (if they see you building this, they're guaranteed to build Divine Ruin, Brawler's Beat Stick, Pestilence or at the very least Weakening Curse).

If all you want is sustain in fights and in lane, grab Shielded Teleport. If you grab it early, you can return to base every 90 seconds, or gank other lanes super fast as long as your team has wards up or if the enemy is close to your towers. Even late game, if you're at really low health/mana in a teamfight, all you need to do is place a ward, back, heal and teleport and you'll rejoin the fight fully healed.

A cool thing about Hercules also is that if he's in danger and is trying to run away, he can use Shielded Teleport to escape as long as the enemy has no hard CC since he's so tanky.

Honestly... if you max out your 3 you can virtually take 100% of your hp in a fight anyway. The best thing to use med for would be for mana or healbaits. I have to say that all in all, med isn't really worth it on herc with the addition of Bluetone Pendant. That's just my thoughts on the subject.

Meditation is more useful than any of that. The mana is nice but the point is for the jolt of HP in a fight. After popping a 3, you can take over 100% of your max hp in damage do to med. If you have stupid sustain you'll eventually beat down anyone in a fight. Hercules Rarely needs beads and shell needs to be picked up by support or not at all. Hercules needs to emphasize sustain in fights and meditation it the ultimate means of doing that. Not to mention wasting money on bluestone allows your opponent to pickup smithy's and win the lane by default.
