Let's be unconventional and skip all the guidelines to building a guide such as making it 10 pages long in order to get it viewed. I'm going to skip the formalities because this isn't an introduction to the character, it's for people who have a general idea of how to play Hel, one of my favorite gods.
I always run this build against a balanced team and it always does amazing. I'll tie with your average player damage and have healed an insane amount. More than any other healer in the game. without a rod of asclepius.
First of all, Hel's bases for her skills are pretty fregen high, so instead of having a higher than usual probability of early game impact, and having a definate lesser impact late game. You can be around the average level of impact the entire game(or more), And so then it will all come down to skill.
So follow the pattern of the skills, priority is 4,3,1,2. And just as a side note, I play hel rather offensivly. People get angry cause they overly rely on Hel to be nothing but heals but they are dumb so don't listen, Hel doesn't have a ult, so she gets alot of abilities to spam which is why you should be offensive with her but not stupid. Dealing damage is just as important as healing with Hel for her to actually have a big impact on the match. So you should constantly be taking advantage of openings and what have you. But you probably allready know all that good stuff. Oh and due to the fact that this build has 2 stacking items, you should definatly lend your focus to CS early phase which is Hella easy, just 1 melee mobs and 3 entire group, everything dies except the biggest melee mob in a wave. Also if you didn't allready know, she can clear creep camps just as fast, 1,3,1 done. i mean with her 3 at rank 1 you cant but once its like rank 3 and rank 2: 1, then your good to go.
pros:
40%cd
Capped mana(4000)
3K+ health
Armor against phys carries.
Very nice amount of power
cons:
The only time this god with this build sucks depends on team composition, and there isn't many ways to make this build suck so you should be just fine generally speaking :)
Enjoy it, and let me know how much *** you kicked with it in the comments, thx.

Good luck
No Rod of Asclepius or Rod of Tahuti, physical protecion, but no magical (and no explanation concerning the items choices). The abilities is just like wtf? A general wtf.
Only this part is already telling me downvote. a guide is a guide this is just a build
