Full Build

Notes This is my preferred version of the final build, but you can swap out rod for charon's if you really need the extra %pen. I recommend going Perfected Rod of Tahuti for the extra ability cdr on it, but calamitous would work fine for extra damage. I recommend grabbing Aegis as your second relic though I'll sometimes grab blink as Hel does not have any movement/escape abilities.

Extended Build

Early-mid game

Notes You'll want to go book of thoth first so you can get the stacks building as quick as possible. Spear and divine ruin can go in any order, depending on if your opponent has healing in their kit or is building lifesteal go divine ruin first, otherwise order either way.

Mid-End Game

Notes Grab last grasp first which will get you to the flat pen cap of 50. I personally prefer grabbing rod here for the extra damage and the 10% pen, however if you feel you need the extra %pen, I recommend grabbing Charon's Coin instead. For finishing the starter, with this build I go Pendulum of Ages for the boost to damage as well as the cdr that's missing for the majority of this build

Introduction

Here with another dumb fun build that works surprisingly well. I have "True Damage" in quotes because it is rarely completely true damage though any squishies will effectively be taking every point of damage you could deal with the way that flat pen will work. Especially if you Hinder them beforehand, if they haven't built any protections, with the 50 flat pen you have on your items, should go through most if not ALL their protections.
Although not quite as effective against tanks, it still works decently well with having some of the %pen from Perfected Rod of Tahuti with dropping Hinder on them allows you to still do effective damage to tanks as well.

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • She essentially has a FREE BEADS use built into her kit Cleanse as long as you get it off before a stun, silence, or polymorph, can be used on self and allies.
  • She has strong self and ally healing built into her kit with Restoration and Inspire
  • She has strong damage that scales high on both her Decay and Repulse which total damage increases even more when paired with using Hinder on them beforehand
Cons
  • Lacking in cc options with the only option being a slow on Hinder and that is all
  • Has no movement abilities at all other than a slight movement speed increase on Inspire

Skills

Hel is a Stance/Form god, meaning she has two sets of abilities that have individual cooldowns.

  1. Hel's passive is Stance Attunement
    • The longer you're in a specific stance, it grants you bonuses dependent on the stance.
    • Dark stance grants up to 20% increased damage.
    • Light stance grants a 55 unit aoe around you that reduces enemy god damage by up to 12%
  2. Hel's first ability is Decay/ Restoration
    • Decay/ Restoration will be the first ability you level and max.
    • Decay Will pass through minions and at either the end of it's line or upon first enemy god hit will explode in an aoe around them, hitting all enemy gods in the area. Adds 60% of your magic power to the damage.
    • Restoration Will deal damage while passing through minions and stops upon hitting a god. Hitting an enemy god will deal damage that doesn't add as much magic power as Decay but same base damage. If hitting an ally god, will heal both their and your health and mana.
  3. Hel's second ability is Hinder/ Cleanse
    • Hinder casts a circle on the ground where you aim, all enemy god's within the circle are slowed as well as have their protections removed.
    • Cleanse casts a circle on the ground where you aim, making you and/or all ally gods within the area cc immune for 1.5 seconds, essentially another use of beads as long as you are not stunned, silenced, etc. beforehand
  4. Hel's third ability is Repulse/ Inspire
    • Repulse Creates an aoe centered on you that deals large burst damage. Has the same base damage as Decay however adds 75% of your magic power instead of 60%
    • Inspire Creates an aoe centered on you that healing yourself for a flat amount as well as giving a tick heal to ally gods and minions(50%) while also granting yourself and allies(50%) a movement speed increase.
  5. Hel's ult is Switch Stances
    • Dark Stance grants you increased magic power, 50% of this is also applied to ally gods within 30 units.
    • Light Stance grants you increased magical and physical protections, 50% of this is also applied to ally gods within 30 units.
    • Passively grants increased MP5

Skill Combos

Your primary attacking combo should be
Combo 1: Dark Stance > Hinder > Basic > Decay > Basic > Repulse > Basic
The above combo can be extended if necessary
Combo 1 > Switch Stances to Light Stance > Basic > Restoration
