Intro

Geb is a really fun god to play and has been my main since starting, in this guide i will attempt to share all my knowledge on how to use this amazing god! This is my first guide so any comments would be appreciated.

Chapter Title

Skills:
Roll Out:
Geb turns into a mass of rolling earth, damaging and slowing enemies he encounters, stopping at the first god he hits. He increases speed as he travels, his damage scaling from 50% to maximum over 3s. Once at his top speed, Geb becomes CC immune, and will also knockback enemy gods.
This is Geb's main initiator/chase/escape if chasing an enemy god you can hit him with this before you turn CC immune and the god will be slowed, granting an easy kill for your team. IT has slow turnings so you only really have one chance at hitting an enemy god into your team, you can cancel it at any time.

Shock Wave:
Geb creates a shock wave, which ripples out from him in a cone, causing damage and knockup to all enemies. The damage decreases the further the enemy is from Geb, down to 50% at the maximum range.
This is Geb's main poke and wave clear, if you stand next to the front melley minion you will cause maximum damage to the wave. It has a medium speed at which it travels so it an enemy god is at the end of the target and retreating you will probably not hit them. Use this skill if you anticipate an unfriendly ability about to be used, or to break the enemies Magi's Blessing.

Stone Shield:
Geb targets himself or an ally to put a shield around. The shield blocks all damage and lasts until its time expires or it takes enough damage to be destroyed. The Shield also cleanses any CC when applied.
This is Geb's bread and butter and the main reason he is picked, it adds on a temporary amount of HP to yourself or an ally and also removes soft CC such as freezes and stuns. Because of this he is a great counter to Ymir, Athena and Thanatos as he can break his allies out of being frozen or attacking athena before any real damage can occur to them, or add more health to an ally taking them out of Thanatos's threshold of execution. The CC cleanse only happens when the person is stunned/frozen, if you shield before this they will not be broken out of the stun. In early game try to use this before an ability or a poke to keep your ADC at max hp.

Cataclysm:
Geb pulls apart the earth, dealing magical damage to all enemy gods based on a percent of their current health, and stunning them.
An amazing ult, if used in combination with blink to a group of enemies it will turn any team fight in your favour, you can use it with your ADC's ultimate to cause high damage and usually a kill on the enemy.

Skill combos

Poking:
Stone Shield + Shockwave
Escaping from single targets:
Shockwave + Roll out
Escaping from 2+ more enemies:
Cataclysm + Shockwave + Roll out
Saving a player:
Stone shield + Cataclysm + Shockwave
Setting up a kill:
Roll out/blink + Cataclysm + Shockwave + Stone Shield + Roll out (if an enemy needs chasing)

Starting Items

Starting with Geb usually comes down to personal preference, Watchers Gift is a great item that lets you keep up in levels with your ADC and still be in the fight but Vanguards Blessing should not be ignored, it allows for an aggressive early landing phase but when using it i find i fall behind on XP. You can either get boots and two wards or potions, i prefer boots as it allows me to get to lane a bit faster, giving us an early advantage.

Shoes

There are three main shoes that can be used on Geb:
Shoes of Focus:
These will help with your cool downs and give you a bit more damage, get these if you are dominating the lanes and winning by quite a bit
Travelers Shoes:
These are a natural fit for Geb, they keep him up on gold and make is Roll out really fast, get these if its an equal fight that could go either way.
Reinforced Shoes:
These give Geb a bit of an early game tank edge however i would not recommend them as they do not help him as much as the other two, get this if your team is losing badly and you are being killed quickly.

Core

Core items come down to your experience with Geb, I would recommend starting out with Sovringity then going on to a Heartward Amulet as these give your team a bit of a protective edge. After this it comes down to their team matchup, their ADC causing large poke damage? Go for Breastplate of valor. Their mage overleveled and destroying your team? Go for hide of urchin. I would only get bulwark of hope against very bursty gods (He Bo Kali)

Summary

This is my first main guide and i hope i have done Geb justice, feel free to leave comments or ask any questions!

Good guide but the skill orders are incorect, you don't put a skill point at level 4/in anything and roll out needs to be leveled.

This is a really nice start to a guide, and you have a ton of useful information. Couple points: Good luck refurbishing this guide - like I keep saying, you have a ton of good stuff here that support players should know. Just look at other guides and emulate their coding.
