Intro

Welcome to my first detailed guide. When Jing Wei was released, it seemed that she was a very under-hyped god. There were very few guides, builds, and even now it seems that she isn't played that often. Little did I know that Jing Wei would become my most favorite god and my first mastery rank 10 god.

Yet me being mastery rank 10 doesn't mean that I know everything, it just means that I play her too much.

Jing Wei can be a complete power house or cannon fodder. In my opinion I really like Jing Wei. Mainly because of her having lots of mobility which can make a 20 min match feel less lengthy. Yet, she is a hunter, which means she is very squish, which is one of her biggest problems.

Note: I will try to keep this guide as up to date as possible. Also if any of you guys have comments, I am all ears.

Patch changes 3.16

Nothing new for Jing Wei this patch. However I have been using poisoned star which is amazing. It really helps early game by slowing enemies. Other than that, I am really hyped for Izanami.

Pros / Cons

Pros

Very Mobile
Queen of auto attack
Flying Passive
Funny voice pack
Massive Crit burst(if built right)
Decent early game

Cons

Very Squish
Ult doesn't do a ton of damage
If stunned or abilities on cool-down you can't escape
Has trouble with lane clearing
Probably under-aged

The only problem I have with this (and all your other guides, pretty much, sorry) is the absolute lack of information provided. If you maybe explained why one should build the items, the abilities of Jing Wei, and ability combos, I'd be a lot more likely to upvote this.

Holding vote for now.

I'm currently creating a new and improved guide for Jing Wei. It has everything you're asking here. I'll PM you a link when it's finished ;p

this is a great build, if you're accurate (which with practice is easy) she will wreck, but all I can suggest is that for relics you get meditation as one, with her life steal and meditation, you'll have a much easier time when diving into a big fight and getting away with enough health that being chased isn't much a worry.

I have only two nitpicks:
1. "Probably under-aged" being considered a "con" xD
2. You might actually want to level-up your ultimate last, only investing one point in it at level 5 because of it being so hard to land and dealing so little damage that you might as well only use it as escape.

yeah your right, Jing wei's ult is difficult to land. Yet it's still nice to have because some times an enemy gets rooted or slowed enough for you to land it. Jing Wei is a basic attacker so her abilities are more centered around utility rather than damage. Her ult is more of an escape, surprise attack, and finisher. I would say her best damage ability would be her first. it's really good to finish off people and can be unexpected. Hmm I do see your point now though, I guess I have to try it out by putting more points into her one. I appreciate your input on the leveling. I never thought about leveling her ult last.

On certain gods, like Xbal and Jing Wei it actually makes sense to invest only one point in their ultimates at level 5 and completely ignore leveling ult until the end, because leveling all the other abilities in their kits grants SO much more benefits.

Patch 3.7! Jing Wei got quite a buff this patch. Golden bow also got a debuff yet it doesn't really effect my build for her that much. Now Jing Wei is more mobile than before, and is able to effectively chase. She also got a damage buff to her base damage and ult. Which is also very good.

I played a bit more with the support Jing Wei Build. It's mainly centered around slowing, pushing back attackers, and chasing enemies. Mail of renewal is very handy because as a support Jing Wei you will get tons of assists. It also adds cooldown reduction so it's a must to have.

As for my sample build that I normally use on Jing Wei. I like it because it doesn't cost a ton of gold and it does good damage. Certainly there are builds that can do a lot of more damage, yet it's kind of gratuitous.
