Health Chalice Hp sustain for the lane.
Phantom Shell Provides you with a shield and you can also pass through the walls of allies and enemy gods.
Bifrost Shard gives you a free ward that lasts 90 seconds. It is useful for early ganks from the enemy jungler.

Hi, this guide is brought to you by lestimics. I started playing Smite 1 on PC in 2014. I've been playing competitively since 2020 and have been a professional Smite player from 2021 to 2023. I've played on different teams like JustF6, Gilded Gladiators or Tartarus Titans.
You can check out the SmiteVOD YouTube channel where my recorded professional games are. I've peaked at 3500 MMR GrandMaster/Masters in Ranked Conquest on the PC platform every season since 2018. I've also done Smite Masters (LAN) 4 times in 2022, so I really think I have the knowledge to guide on the Support role in SMITE 2.
I hope you find this guide as a useful learning resource for playing
Sylvanus as Support.

Passive -
When your abilities hit or are deployed, a seed pod appears. Picking it up restores Mana and reduces your cooldowns. When you combo with your abilities, you'll be able to collect many seeds and quickly use those abilities again. |
|
Ability 1 - Throw a pod that deals magical damage, applies protection reduction, and roots enemies hit. If it lands on the ground without hitting an enemy, it grows into a flower after 6s that grants nearby allies mana regeneration. If someone destroys the pod with a basic attack, their defenses are reduced. A very useful skill for easily applying root, and being able to combo with |

Ability 3 -
This ability is very good but difficult to hit, so it's important to secure the ability by using |

Ultimate -
This knock-up makes it much easier for your team to deal damage, and you're also immune to crowd control when you use this ability. |

To answer your first question, the build has the following breakdown:
- Starter item / Upgrade (its own space): in this case it's War Flag / War Banner
- 6 main items: Stampede, Genji's, Spectral, Spirit Robe, Time-Lock Aegis, Dwarven Plate
- Curio: the auto choice given freely at the beginning of a conquest match is Bifrost Shard and does not count as a standard item
- Relic: Phantom Shell, everyone gets a spot for a relic as a standalone item
Hopefully this clarifies for you!In addition to this, as you start learning how to build yourself, and as you get more familiar with items, you can consider these builds as templates. Some adjustments you would make would be as follows:
- If you find that enemies aren't building critical damage items, you would usually not build
Spectral Armor /
Spectral Visage and instead choose an alternative item. In this build case, Lestimics is building Spectral quite early (3rd main item), so it might be difficult to tell if they don't get crit items earlier. However,
Rage is pretty common and that should normally be built early to help get stacks, and another easy tell is when the enemy gets
Gilded Arrow as their starter. If you don't see those, you might consider delaying building Spectral and pushing the other items up or fully substituting with another item in that spot.
- Situational enemy comp: Say that the enemy team has 4 gods that deal physical damage, and 1 that is magical, and as a Support you're facing 2 physical gods (e.g. Medusa + Guan Yu)...in that case, you could consider replacing Genji's 2nd with something like
Breastplate of Valor (also has more cooldown, mana regen, etc.) with an overall focus toward building more physical protection items overall.
@Lestimics, it would be great to see you add an additional section of items that can be considered as alternatives for different situations. Also, you have
