Chernobog conjures a large crystal of curses and hurls it at the target location dealing damage on landing. After several seconds the crystalline curses explode dealing damage again and Rooting any enemy in the area. The crystal can be detonated early by firing at it with Vicious Barrage.

If Chernobog comes in contact with a wall, he briefly enters it as a shadow, becoming untargetable and immune to damage for up to 3s. Chernobog can leave the wall early by dashing or just stepping out of the wall. If he remains for the full duration, Chernobog will automatically dash out as his time expires.

Once he reaches the location he takes the place of his shadow, refreshing his cooldowns, as well as temporarily obtaining damage mitigations and extra movement speed.

Well hello there! My name is Lukatomic and this is my third BIG in-depth guide. This time I am doing a guide on my main God, chernobog! Yes, I main him to the point where it took a day to get him to mastery level 10. But if you have seen some of my other builds, they weren't that great since I only tested them once and got bad reviews. My big guides are the only good ones that are actually decent and these builds have been tested and have been approved of their power, and so this guide was born.
I will be teaching you about the basics of chernobog and how to play him in three different roles. So let's get started!

Chernobog, The lord of Darkness. A very mobile and persistent god, if you can play him correctly that is...
When you play Chernobog, you always have to stay with your team in alot of situations in the early game, but during the mid and late game, you can easily get out of 1 v 1 fights. His abilities are really fun to use and great it certain situations,So let's talk about his abilities!

Becoming a chernobog player means that you have to know where to play him. So let me give you some things to know that will help you in the long run. And to all of you new chernobog players out there, this is
a great guide for you! Hopefully you will better understand how to play chernobog.

The first thing we will cover is the ADC Carry lane, y'know the thing that almost all hunters are made for. But let's get to the point of this entire guide. Chernobog, an amazing ADC god with enough power to destroy alot in the late game, but the early game has a different story.
As you start the game, you will need to choose your 1st ability for the root on the minions, then go to your 2 and 3. Stay close to a wall so that you can hide inside of it if you get CC'd.
Once you get to level 5, things will change as your ult can almost instantly teleport across the map. This can give you an advantage in gold and xp as you can help any lane at any time.
This can also be used as a map-wide ward that everyone can see. Now you know the importance of chernobogs ultimate. But there are some downsides, like panic ulting, or getting ganked 24/7.
Whatever Italy be, you will still always have your wits beside you...like literally, you have a damn map, use it.

MID LANE


The mid lane for chernobog is very interesting but very fun at the same time. He was never born for the 5 man gank lane but his abilities are amazing for this, so I am going to tell you how good mid lane chernobog really is.
So let's start with how you should play him in the mid lane, dont be stupid. It's that simple. His damage output onto a normal mid laner can be devastating to the enemy, so try and bait out the jungler while your jungler gets nearby harpy camps and both of you can take the other jungler out.
Your surroundings are your friend, hide in the walls when you need to and stay within range of the enemy minions, but don't get too close, you are squishy in the early to mid game so be close to each side of the lane to get out of situations normal mid lane gods can't get out of.
Your abilities are your hardest hitter against both gods and minions, if you get half of your build done in mid game, you will be able to clear lanes with your 1-2 ability combo.
Like I said in the duo lane, use your ult to help other lanes when you have the time. It is an life saving play and will get your team the help they need against your enemy.

JUNGLE


Chernobog in the jungle...well I never really would've thought of it but if you think about it, it's actually decent. Let me explain.
Chernobog in the jungle is reliable in some cases since his ultimate and 1-2 combo is very over powered since you can root enemies in an instant, so let me give you some situations.
Y'know how people LOVE yelling at you for not being in the lane for the dumbest reasons because you need your farm/jungle buff. Well now you can fix that by using Chernobog's ultimate! Yes, this is a great way to quickly get to a lane and help people in any way you can.
So now that we got that problem out of the way, let's talk about your xp and how you farm. Which is just like a normal jungler but you also have an advantage because of your 1-2 combo so that in the mid to late game, you can easily burst a camp in an instant, with the right build of course.
Now you can also use the information from the other parts of the guide to help you throughout the jungle, like the walls, they will always be your friend.

OTHER GAMEMODES


In other gamemodes, you can just play whatever you want, follow the same rules as in conquest and just have some fun, I don't care what you do.
But the builds here are always great options to get amazing damage throughout the game. That's all I need to say!

PROS AND CONS

  • Walls are your friend
  • ultimate is very helpful to your teammates
  • stick close to your teammates and you'll be safe
  • being far from minions while attacking will save your health
  • mobile hunter
  • fast paced in late games


Cons
  • panic ulting leads to death in most cases
  • being close to enemy is dangerous
  • if all abilities are down, you're screwed
  • accidental ultimate placement leads to death
  • not looking at your surroundings leads to death

Ah the end of the guide. This kind of stuff takes a long time so let's get this over with.
Chernobog the lord of darkness, a suprisingly well sustained God and great in team fights. Carry duo lane, mid lane, and even jungle are great options for chernobog.

My favourite Chern ADC build: Warrior, trans, asi, exe, Rage, Deathbringer. I sell boots late for either mantle of discord or bloodforge usually. As for your abilities section, it contains misinformation: his 1/2 don’t “freeze”/“stun” opponents it roots them in place if the 1 is detonated by the 2.

Looking back at your chernobog guide, it seems like you don't prefer poison star or wind demon anymore?

Because they’re not good right now. Wind Demon is the better of the 2 though.

(Rage is 2400 gold, WD is 2600, PS is 2500 but it's a bit...bad).

SmiteFire & Smite
