First of all this is not a comprehensive guide. This is how I build my Nu Wa to succeed in winning games. I chose to buy the Magic Shoes and the Soul Reliquary due to their increase in your mana pool and overall damage potential right out of the gate. At the same time it is also useful to start out with parts of two of the three core items already in your inventory.
The core items that I chose to build are preferable to Nu Wa because of the movement speed increase of the Magi's Boots, the mana stack and physical power conversion of the BoT (Book of Thoth), and the cooldown reduction and bonus magical power of the Chronos Pendant allowing you to have the Clay Soldiers ability always at the ready to harass the enemy team or to push back a creep wave.
There's really not much to say about the damage items, they just make you penetrate a little deeper or hit a lot harder.
These items give Nu Wa the potential to be an even greater asset in a team fight or can make her sustainability go through the roof. The Witchblade for example, gives Nu Wa a distinct advantage against gods dependent on physical power, mainly basic attack heavy gods, allowing her to overwhelm and destroy her enemies. The PP and Bancroft's Talon both serve as bonus magical power and as lifesteal for added sustainability while in lane. Finally, the Ethereal Staff can be swapped out for the BoT or the Witchblade if extra health and magical power is what is needed.
Thanks for reading my guide! I hope it may help many people with becoming better players as well as helping veterans to come up with their own style of build. Any feedback is obliged and once again, thank you!

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
