Support your teammates early game. You are supposed to freeze when given good opportunity, and avoid dying. Although you are not exactly squishy, a strong physical character will easily dispose of you.
Items have no special purchase order, and you can swap them with similar items if you feel a need. Before buying your final item, look back at the problems you have been having this game. Everything going fine? Tahuti. Otherwise, pick something based on your problems.
Late game, you should be able to dispose of anyone without some decent defence. But be careful of getting isolated.
If, for some god unknown reason, you decide to play Ymir in 1v1 joust.(Looks at mirror.) Go by the build above, with several exceptions.
Skip all items that who give at lease 50% damage protection to the incorrect type. (And the watcher's gift.)
If you fight a magical, take Stone of Gaia, then Heartward, then Warlock's Sash, Ethereal Staff, Bulwark of Hope, and then Rod of Tahuti.
If you fight a physical, take Sovereignty, then Hide of the Nemean Lion, then Warlock's Sash, Ethereal Staff, Breastplate of Valor, and then Rod of Tahuti.
If you have a healing magical opponent, take the heartward amulet to start with, and skip the meditation. You need to buy a weakening curse at some point, but it can be held off for a while.
If you fight a healing warrior opponent, get the sovereignty, and skip the blink. At that point, get warlock's sash, ethereal staff, breastplate of valor, divine ruin, and rod of tahuti. You need to buy a weakening curse at some point, but it can be held off for a while. This is a terrible matchup, and I fully expect you to lose.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.

The build is actually not bad, but makes no sense whatsoever.
Meditation is just plain bad on all gods and terrible on Guardians like
The main problem is: In what order should a purchases these items exactly? I guess you are trying to let people decide what item order they want, that Is a really bad idea.
Lets say I'm a person who just started playing Smite and see your guide, which tells me that I can buy these items in any order I want. So I proceed to buy
The small amount of actual information you provide is actually pretty good (except I don't get why you discourage people from playing
Down vote. Please make this guide less confusing, please. My head is hurting again.
Needs a bit more work.
