Welcome to my (probably) unique guide of Poseidon, God the Ocean. My guide builds poseidon for amazing Auto Attack dmg (AA).I'm basically building him to be like Freya or Chronos. It's basically as if Freya and Chronos had a love-child here. You get the Crowd Control of Chronos and the Damage of Freya. Just be sure not to get too over confident, you are a mage after all and that random Loki can eat you alive, BUT NEVER FEAR, you can eat him alive too!
oKAY! so now on to my explanation of all these whack items.
Shoes of Focus: Every mage needs the shoes! Cooldown reduction is nice so you can spam Trident and work that Auto attack damage magic. (increases mana and magical power) Polynomicon: Lifesteal is almost a must for most mages, plus the passive that poly gives is downright awesome (converts your next basic attack, within the next 5 seconds, to deal 100% of your magical dmg. Can apply every 2 seconds)(Increases magical power, mana, and gives 12% lifesteal) Demonic Grip: Increases attack speed by 25% and magical dmg 70. Passive: Your basic attacks lower enemy magical defense Gem of binding: Why binding, you ask? "His abilities are more powerful!" Well, see, his abilities are powerful enough, and they have great poke as they are. His 3 does a slow already, so while they are drudging through that-you beat them to a pulp with Trident and then they are slowed again. (Gem of binding- increases mag dmg, health, & mana) Spear of Magus: You want them dead? Unleash your abilites on them while beating them into submission [or death] make everything you do hurt just a bunch more. (Mag dmg, mag pen, and lower mag def with abilites casted) Rod of Tahuti: Good game by now if you've made it thus far, but if not, well...your enemy will have somethin' to fear now with all you magical dmg raised by a nice 25% plus 125 mag dmg to go with it.You can mid or duo lane with this build.
you can burst tanks to death. I was able to completely blow away an enemy Bacchus tank with this.
you can do anything with this build. :D
Also i feel you should know, you MAY have a weak early game but hit strong mid and late game. It all depends on the player honestly.
