This build takes advantage of Nemesis's synergy with Hydra's and Runeforged to quickly burst down squishy targets.
Note: Hydra's will not proc until Nemesis's shield has ended even if the shield does return damage to an enemy.
Nemesis's dash will proc Hydra's damage only once.
The reason you take Bluestone over Death's Toll is for the clear. Bluestone's passive will save you 2 basic attacks on the small creeps in the Buff camps.
In this guide, I will refer to Nemesis's skills as her dash, slice and dice, shield, and ultimate so that players of all skill levels can easily understand.
Blink is one of the core of this build, it allows you to more easily execute the specific combo you want to do with Hydra's passive and Nemesis's ultimate.
As for whether you get Beads or Blink first, you should value Beads over Blink if the enemy team has a cc heavy composition.
With Blink, you can also stay on a target with a dash or leap. The combo you want to do is Blink > Ultimate > Basic attack. Follow up with Slice and Dice > Basic Attack > More Basic Attacks.
Most squishy characters will be 80-90% dead after you hit the second Hydra's proc. Tankier characters may take 40-60% of their health depending on what they build first.
And of course, don't rely only on Blink to initiate.
This build gains a powerspike after finish Hydra's and another after finishing Runeforged. As these items are relatively cheaper, you should be able put a lot of pressure with high damage bursts thoughout the match as opposed to a basic attack Nemesis with Ichival and another high value item which lets her box single targets.
After finishing your core build, you have enough damage to 100-0 Mages and Hunters at level 20 with your full combo and 1 or more extra basic attacks depending on whether they pick up physical protections or not. This gives you some leeway when choosing your last 2 items. Usually you will pick up Brawler's Beatstick for more damage. Getting Magi's Blessing is also recommended. Masamune will make you very fast.
Bracer of Undoing: During the writing of this guide, Bracer is very commonly picked up so you can also get Brawler's AND Witchblade to counter it. Brawler's is not enough to confirm a regular kill on warriors because you do so much burst damage that their Bracer still heals them for a lot of health. Since Witchblade has enough synergy with Nemesis, it's an easy pickup to justify.
Hard counter picks to Nemesis:
1) Xing Tian - One of the worst gods to play against as Nemesis. His jumps can deal with Nemesis changing directions with her dash. His knockup is very fast and removes her shield.
Common counter picks to Nemesis:
1) Hunbatz - Reliable pick. Can cause a lot of disruption with his ult.
2) Serqet - Has a bitter fight with Nem, can go back and forth.
3) Sun Wukong - His ult can neutralize your ult on himself and he can cleanse slows on himself. Runeforge doesn't affect him in his ult's startup.
4) Susano - Just good, usually banned. Can pull Nem in her dash and shield or after she blinks.
5) Mercury - Has a slow immunity and grab.
6) Thanatos - Has a slow immunity and silence.
7) Sol - Has a slow immunity.
Gods Nemesis counters:
Any god without mobility has a hard time against Nemesis.
Ares, Sylvanus, Zhong Kui, Hel, Isis
