DECAY (Dark Stance) - Hel fires an orb of decay that deals damage and passes through minions. The orb will explode in a 12 unit radius if it hits a god or reaches max range.

RESTORATION (Light Stance) - Hel fires an orb of restoration that damages enemy minions and stops on gods. Hitting an enemy god deals damage. Hitting an allied god provides that god and Hel Health and Mana.

REPULSE (Dark Stance) - Hel conjures a burst of dark energy around her, damaging all nearby enemies.

INSPIRE (Light Stance) - Hel conjures a burst of light energy around her, healing herself instantly and applying a heal over time to nearby allies that ticks every 1s. This heal is half as effective when healing minions. Hel gains Increased Movement Speed, and allies gain a reduced amount (7%) for the duration. Hel and allies also gain 20% Attack Speed while the buff is active.

Light Stance - Hel's abilities heal and support her allies and she gains increased Protections.

Passive - Hel gains increased MP5 and half of all benefits gained from Switch Stances are shared with allied gods within 30 units.

Extended Build

Explanation.

Pendulum of Ages - Because why would you play a mage and not use it?

Doom Orb - The high increase to Magical Power and it's passive is pretty nice.

Spear of the Magus - For the Magical Power and Lifesteal.

Spear of Desolation - Why two spears, you ask? Well, because if you couldn't tell already this build is for maximum Magical Power with a little bit of CDR and M. Pen.

Book of the Dead - This one is mostly in for the passive for survivability but the CDR is nice.

Rod of Tahuti - This one is solely for the passive and the MP gain.

With this build, you end up with the highest MP I've been able to piece together and let's be honest... what's a mage with low MP? Useless.

Tips

For the early game (I'd say from levels 3-8) you're going to want to hang back and just kill minions. Once you hit probably level 10 or 11, you can start getting a little more aggressive but be mindful that this build makes you EXTRA squishy. By about level 15 though, you should be able to two shot most assassins, hunters, and mages. On top of that, your lifesteal plus your stacked MP should allow your heals to keep you and your team alive.
