Bellona dashes forward and bashes with her shield, dealing damage and Slowing enemies. Bellona gains 1 Stack of block for each enemy god hit. Block absorbs all damage from a single Basic Attack and reflects a portion of the damage around her.

Bellona then makes Basic Attacks with sword and shield until she has not taken or dealt damage in the last 7s. Every 3 successful basic attacks she gains another Stack of block (max. 3).

Bellona summons a hammer and spins, hitting every enemy around her and then smashing forward in an overhand attack. Each enemy god hit in the spin increases the damage of the overhand attack.

Bellona now makes Basic Attacks with her hammer until she has not taken or dealt damage in the last 7s. Every hammer attack hits all enemies in melee range and only benefits from 33% of Bellona's total Lifesteal.

Bellona summons a scourge, dealing damage to all enemies in a line. Enemies hit are Disarmed, and cannot make Basic Attacks.

Bellona now makes Basic Attacks with a scourge until she has not taken or dealt damage in the last 7s. Basic Attacks have extended range (+4) and every third attack heals Bellona.

Introduction

Bellona is a heavy sustain, high damage dealing warrior who has the best early game in smite. Her level 1 has a built in CC, damage, and heal all in one ability. Plus the range extender it provides helps your heavy hammer passive immensely. Bellona easily have enough power, and sustain to have your whole team screaming roma invicta!

Items

You want to be staring off with heavy hammer so that you can have the early aggression that you need as bellona. Early control is very important as Bellona.

Next, your core items heavily consist of attack speed items because this will help your clear, sustain, and damage. High attack speed is key for bellona which is why I listed these as her core items. The penetration from Ichaival will also help you shred through tanks and squishies alike. The little lifesteal from Asi is also a nice touch.

Normally, Bellona doesn't have to be building defensive items because she has too much sustain ,but if for some reason you are behind then witchblade helps you counter warriors and hunters. Also, Bellona suffers heavily from CC so the Spirit robe and Magi's blessing are great additions to her build.

Finally, her aggresive items. The crit items are for demolishing squishies and just generally pumping out more damage. Jotunn's wrath, you mainly build for the cooldown. The mana and penetration from Jotunn's wrath are nice, however with max level ultimate and Jotunn's wrath, your cooldown on your escape is 30s. Executioner is great pen against tanks and of course more attack speed. Hastened Fatalis is just for the lolz and of course more attack speed.

Skills

The skills are a bit confusing at first glance so let me explain. At level 2, you get shield bash so that you can box anyone early game. At level 4, you actually level skip so you can get level 3 Scrouge and your ultimate. Your Bludgeon is not, I repeat, NOT useful for anything early game. However, later in the game your hammer is MASSIVE damage in team fights. You max your 3 first for the longer CC and higher heal rate you have. Then, you max your 2 in which case you should be going into more team fights and destroying the enemy team. finally, you max your 1 last because leveling it provides nothing more than higher damage. Also, the one mistake that I see many Bellona players making is that they stay in their hammer form. Staying in your hammer form does nothing for you. It lowers your attack speed and gives you an AoE attack... That's it. Having your sword and shield up gives you block stacks so that auto attacks do no damage to you and being in your scourge form heals you. So use your 2 for the damage then Immediately switch to either your 1st or 3rd form.

Best Boxer in the game
Best Early game
Very high sustain
Overall great kit
Very short ultimate cooldown

Cons:
Very weak to CC
Low defense
Only escapes are a short ranged dash and her ultimate
