Awilix is very good in the early game and begins to become not as good as the game progresses. This make a player really want to get an early lead and snowball into the late game so they can carry their team to victory. She is very good at chasing down targets with leaps such as Anhur and Nike due to her 3 and Ult.
Very strong when ahead and on level, not as strong when behind, but still not useless if played correctly.
Awilix works very well with god with knockups in their kits, such as Vulcan, Nike, and Sylvanus. She is also good at keeping gods in a certain area, such as in an Odin ring, or a Ymir wall with her Ult, because they can only leap past the wall or ring. In team fights, primarily, her objective is to pluck a squishy, high damage dealing god out of the fight with her let into a side area and to kill them to minimize the enemy team's damage output.
