Intro

The names LordMorgoth(in-game as well). I have been playing Artemis for a long time and she is Probably one of my top favs. Before I go on, When reading this build, Ive tried to simplify it by showing step-by-step what to buy every time you recall, I hope it worked. One of the main reasons is she takes a lil skill. For those who don't know enough about her. Shes an archer whose passive increases her critical strike chance by 5%(stacks 3 times), and that passive is part of the key to her edge on the battle field and as you'll see my build compliments and enhances that aspect.

Artemis Game Strategy

At the Beginning of the game, as Artemis, its important to aim at maxing Vengeful Assault Because that's where your damage and element of surprise comes in. It's always nice to snag the blue(mana) buff because it will help you continuously Volley them(vengeful assault) into submission. Remember to keep your distance till you get your Calydonian Boar for "Safe getaways and executions of your opponent". Your ult will help reassure safe pushing and protection from ambushes

Traps

There are several ways to go about using traps. There's "Lane Trapping" where you spread them evenly when putting them down "IN" your lane making them obstacles to go around and get trapped in, also a good spot to hang by for when they get close. Then there's "Active Trapping" and this style takes a lot more skill and is usually always used while escaping on the side, but Active trapping would be used while chasing someone. You basically try to spawn the trap right in front of them/behind them when they are trying to get away, this like I said before can also be used to get away by spawning it right under your feet as your running so a god chasing behind gets stuck. And Finally there's "Defensive Trapping" where you put the traps in the jungle openings of your lane and make sure they're in the jungle a little bit so that not only can it trap junglers, you can SEE them coming which is "KEY"

P.S - TRAPS COST ALOT OF MANA, USE WISELY

Pros and Cons

Pros
-High Damage
-Long Ability Range
-Very strong poke
-Solo lane Friendly
-Good Getaways
-Strong pusher
-Great Team Fighter(Especially with Calydonian Boar)

Cons
-Low sustain
-Low defense/cant take a lot of damage
-if caught of guard/without boar, this could result in death
-No "Leap", used to avoid major damage and entrapment from Ult's and ETC
-For active Artemis players there is a slight mana shortage if not countered early(meditation and mana potions)

This is a terrible guide. First of the build, im gonna be nice and say that build's are based on prefrence and are debatable on effectiveness. How ever actives ARE NOT, meditation/salvation is a godawful active outside of assault that should never be bought by litterly anyone ever. I hope i clairfied that enough.

Weakening curse. Ohoho this active i see in so many terrible guides. This active is a great healing blocker and should there for not be picked on a carry but on a tank support or a jungler. It should only be bought if the enemy team has more then 1 high healing mage's like hel and aphrodite. If those are not around and you are extremly deturment to buy a curse buy enfeebling.

Sprint, combat blink should be bought for hunters.

Your guide has no explanation on the items, no explanation for skills and no gameplay coverce.

This guide is short, lazy and bad.

This build kills, It worked great and the death toll at the beginning was a good choice because it helped me sustain more and stay in lane. Your comment about the vulnerability of not having your boar is very true!
