Im no master player but this build has worked wonder for me give it a shot.
becuase the build doesnt have much attack speed its critical u get speed fast as possible even to the point of not getting supression on 8 and grabbing the ulti and vengful at 9. USE HER PASSIVE

these are up to preference I usually want to go for rune forge as it gives me that sustain to stay in the fight at the end and buffs my passive
but I usually have to throw ani heal in there before qin sai and if I can basic attack the god its toxic blade otherwise beat stick for people like Anubis.
This is my build for Artemis playing on joust unranked.
it starts out slow and it vital to know that this is a weak build till u finish rage and get some points in it.
The great parts of this build is the rapid growth in explosive power that catches people off guard recommended to play with a mage who can take out early waves and a tank that can keep enemies off u.
Down side to this build is the low mp5 u need to save it for that kill shot.
Using the side creeps to gain extra gold with gilded arrow is also a big one. in Joust it can be hard to get close to the lane minions with this build due to high cc and aggressive play. Since this build has little to no mp5 using abilities for anything but applying your passive isn't usually worth it. so going to the side lane and dropping suppression on the mana and killing one of the creeps between waves can be advantageous. But usually u ensure that kill and offer the mana to you mage.
her root is your best early game skill in team fights running out and dropping it in the damage creep entrances to catch the enemies is the best way to get your team an early kill but with low attack speed and none coming outside your ability for the first 5 minutes u need to make sure not to put yourself in a position where u get trapped. Most enemies will kill u out right unless ur especially killed if they catch u solo. but if u got allies applying cc make sure ur popping vengeful and getting that extra damage or dropping your root under then so u have longer to hit them. Artemis's abilities are okay but her basics procing her passive combined with crit is where its at.
ATTACK AND MOVEMENT SPEED BUFF! this build doesn't work without it. U wanna save it for an escape or to pound down the creep wave if necessary but usually its so when they walk into a root or you're team cc's them u can churn out the dps everything else is for setting up kills or saving allies.
