Introduction

Arachne's History

In a small town of Ledia, in Northern Greece, there once lived a beautiful maid with the name Arachne. Arachne was famous in town for being a very skillful weaver and spinner and every day many girls and nymphs were stopping by to see her weave.

However, Arachne was a very vain girl. She often boasted about her skills and claimed she could even defeat Athena, the goddess of wisdom.

When Athena heard these words, she got disappointed and decided to disguise as an old lady and appear in front of Arachne.

"My dear", she told Arachne, "I am old and have much experience from life, so let me give you one advice: don't ever mess up with a goddess! No mortal can compete against Athena. Take back your words and kindly ask for forgiveness."

Arachne got furious and threw the thread against the old woman, telling her:
"I don't need your advice, I know best what I can do! If Athena really dares, then she should come here and compete against me!"

At that moment, the old woman transformed herself into the radiant goddess Athena. Soon the competition started and both contestants were doing really well. Athena was weaving the Parthenon and her contest with god Poseidon. Arachne, on the other hand, was making fun of the gods by weaving scenes of gods full of weaknesses and fears.

When they finished, Athena saw that Arachne's picture insulted the god and ripped it into pieces. Arachne was so embarrassed that she went out and hanged herself. Athena felt merciful and turn her into a spider, cursing her and all her descendents to weave for all time.

Arachne is a melee assassin which most would describe. Her skills are not used to inflict TONS of damage but rather turn the fight into her favor.

Let's have a look at her pros and cons:

PROS
+Very strong early game
+Drain Life can help turn fights around and regain health.
+Cripple and Silence
+Broodlings can tank camps
+Strong Ganker

CONS
+VERY squishy
+No escape move (Tangled web slows down enemies for a little while)
+Bad late game
+Not much help in teamfights

Skills

Poison Claws (Passive)

A great passive for assassins like Arachne. It leaves additional damage for your enemy, and increases when your physical power does, meaning it gets stronger everytime you buy a physical power item!

Broodlings (First Move)

Should always be the first move you put a point into. You want this so you can kill an early buff. You can place broodlings in the jungle and lure your enemies into your trap or help teammates push lanes.
The eggs are also a makeshift ward. Be sure to plant some when being chased so you dont have to look behind you or just place them where you would normally place wards to increase map awareness.

Drain Life (Second Move)

A skill with benefits and letdowns. This skill helps restore a good amount of your health while you're latched on an enemy. Better yet, they're silenced and cannot attack you. This skill can help win duels and still leave you still with a good amount of health.

The bad thing is that the enemy can carries you under a tower, or towards their teammates. Their teammates can hurt you even though the enemy you've latched on to can't. You can always right click to cancel the skill early and run away!

Tangled Web (3)

A skill that is great for ganks. The web can cover up to an entire lane! This is the only skill that is actually good in teamfights other than your ultimate, which slows enemies and can let you teammate finish them off.

Cocoon (4)

Prehaps the trickiest ultimate in the game. The ultimate has a far range but is a narrow one-hit shot. There's a high chance of missing your target. However, it is one of the most shortest cooldown ultimate in the game and can be used in different ways.
+Pulling under towers/phoenixes
+Pull enemy to teammates
+Securing a kill

Itemization

CORE ITEMS!

Bumba's Mask
Every jungler should have a Bumba's mask. The heal you recieve and the solo gold/exp is fantastic. It's a must have in early game, you can sell later on.

Warrior Tabi
The movement speed, attack speed, physical power, and penetration you get for this item is just pure awesomeness. Need I say more?

The Executioner
You need that damage early game for ganks and maintaining lanes. This item adds 20% more attack speed to your warrior tabi, and provides a good amount of physical power. The 7% + 3*5 passive is a good amount of penetration.

Bloodforge
I recommend bloodforge over devourer's glove. Blood forge is similar to devourer's glove but better. If you do the math, 40 stacks of 0.5 physical power is +20 physical power. 30 physical power + 20 physical power is 50 physical power. 40 stacks of 0.25% lifesteal is +10% lifesteal. 10% + 10% lifesteal is 20%. Bloodforge has 40 physical power and 20% lifesteal. This makes devourer's glove better, but if you add in bloodforge's passive, it would add 25 physical power(5*5) and 10% lifesteal(2*5) once you get 5 stacks. Also, you dont have tos tack up for bloodforge you get it right away!

Frostbound Hammer
This item's passive is good because of it's CC, reducing enemy movement speed by 25% for 4 sec. It also provide ALOT of health(325) and add more physical power(25)!

Deathbringer
What assassin are you if you dont get death bringer? It gives alot of crit chance! 20% crit chance and its bonus 70% passive crit chance! It also provide 50 physical power. That makes this item a legend. Why else would it be so expensive?

Rage
This item gives you more of a crit chance. It also give attackspeed, and physical power. Its crit stack passive gives even more crit chance! All this crit chance is making me dizzy.

USEFUL ITEMS!

Devourer's Glove
If you prefer devourer's glove over bloodforge, you can replace it. It's exactly like blood forge except for their passive.

Titan's Bane
If you find yourself against a team that has mostly all tanks, this item is right for you. That addition physical power and penetration will burst through those tanks like crazy.

Fatalis
This is not a good item to choose if you're going to replace blood forge with it. You DON'T get ANY physical power or anything related, just attack speed and movement speed. But if you're against a team that has alot of CC, this might be a good idea.

Qin's Blade
If you really want that burst damage, get this item. It's great against tanks because they usually build alot of HP. Otherwise, it's still good for bursting other assassins since it provides bonus amount of damage.

Eye of Retaliation
If you find yourself in a tough spot, get this item. It's also good if you're focused and lose HP everywhere you go. Provides damage when you are running low on HP.

GOOD SECOND ACTIVES!

Eye of Providence
You know that team that has laners that gank other lanes very often? Yeah. This is good if you're against that kind of team, just because you want to keep your butt from any danger.

Blink
If the enemy team has alot of CC, get combat blink. I don't like it because of its cooldown but if I really need it, I get it. If you just need to run away, grab the other one, the movement speed it gives you after you blinked, and the 45 sec cooldown is very very very good.

Girdle
Up against tanks? Buy girdle. If your team needs it because the enemy team is mostly tanks, get Girdle of Might. Otherwise for 1v1s, get Girdle of Inner Power.

Creeping Curse
If the enemy has a character like chronos which runs away really fast, get this. This slows them down so they can't run away and you can finish them off.

Sprint
Again, if the enemy team has alot of CC, you should get this for running away especially if you've been creeping cursed.

Perification Beads
If the enemy team has an Ares or Hades, try to get this right after they reach level 5. In teamfights, Ares and hades can be a bad thing so you don't want to get involved in their Ultimate.

Summary

If you are lazy and
TL;DR

Arachne is a good assassin early game but falls off late game. Very squishy but can turn 1v1s in her favor.

I'll be looking forward to update my guide. Thanks for the tip!

First off, never add Lore into a guide. It is just filler and it doesn't help the reader.

Second, having an entire section of neon green text hurts my eyes. Keep color to an effective minimum, highlighting important parts and names.

Your information could be much more detailed, and you could include BB Coding for the cosmetics.

Bojanx2x gave some good advice here as well. Work on the guide, it needs a lot of work.
