Aphrodite is a commonly over looked god who can really pack a punch if built and played right. Usually when playing as her, you want to stay behind your team and heal them when necessary, but she does have the capability of attacking head on, strategically.
First, you want to start off with Watcher's Gift, since early game she is unable to do much. Along with Shoes and Mana Potions.
After this, get Shoes of Focus and Chronos' Pendant so you can heal more frequently.
Next, the Rod of Asclepius is a necessity. Once the doves are upgraded fully along with the Rod, you will heal over 100 hp per tick. The Polynomicon is also nice because it gives you mana along with life steal with your birds.
Next, the Focused Void Stone gives your doves some extra penetration to help deal with those pesky tanks.
After all of this, you want to sell the Watcher's Gift and get your preference of items above. This will give you the extra oomph you need to deal some serious damage.
I personally think it is best to build up the doves all the way first to get some extra healing for your team early on, then the Smooch so you can help out by stunning enemies and your Ult to help teammates out of sticky situations, then Back Off for some damage.
Pros:
- A lot of healing for single teamate + self
- Some crowd control with Smooch
- Immunity with Ult
- Sustained damage
Cons:
- Somewhat squishy
- Not much damage early on
- Only able to heal one teammate at a time
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
