Overall Support tips

SUPPORT AMA

Support amaterasu in S4 is a really good pick. You need to start off the most agressive way possible, outbox the opponent and the ennemy laner and have good communication with the carry in you're team. Her buff need's to be her first abilitie, that way it goes faster for both of the dual laner to clear the lane ( Her aura in the early game is really strong so make sure the other laner always use it on the laning phase. )

You could switch for Talaria boots but I would not recommend it just because you will go with shield of regrowth. Once you get this item, Ama will have no problem to switch lane and help mid and gank the dual lane if needed. Once you got shield of regrowth, don't be scared to invade and counter buff the ennemy team. If you start to snowball, help the jungler and the mid and go in the dual only if the carry has a hard time or to secure a kill, the mid will make better use of ama help mid game.

Late game is all about team fight, you don't have to engage first, because this build is not a bruiser build but more of a utility/supp build. Let the solo engage first and then go help the team, make sure you defend glass cannon in the team especially if they don't got any escape ( I.e SKadi for example ) . Until late game don't try to splitpush too hard, she's better off with the rest of her team ( not the same thing for a solo build * ). Hope this helps, ama right now is at an all time low in the solo lane since the new season but is really decent in the dual lane.

Overall TIPS on how to play ama especially in the solo

This is my first build. My amaterasu is Level X, with 6,5k assist and 5.5k kills with it ( I usually play solo/duel/joust with her). I usually dislike Joust(too much cheesy), but I should still make one for Amaterasu. She really shine in the mid to late game due to her poor laning phase, she has to wait and cannot bully with some exception. With this build, you should be able to tank for your team with a good dmg input right at the beggining of the team fights. You still are squishy especially against a good Mage with CC so beware because mage like Poseidon can peel trough you quick, so find the glass cannon before they find you!!! ...

Tthis build consist of being able to push the lane with your 2, fully charged(with the good stance, too) you should be able to clear lane at lvl9 (LVL 4 with Blue pendant if you feel like you need push in the early phase). * Starter, both starter death's toll/bluestone are useful, always depends on who you are playing against. Will you box him or stay in tower to simply farm? Both are good, I prefer death's toll for the sustain but bluestone is still pretty good in Season 4.

Other info:

Before using you're ult you should charge Heavenly reflection to get the most out of your ULT.

RELICS
Relics are personnal usually...except when you are in the solo lane in ranked. Typical relics are TELEPORT(not sure of the good name) so you can get back to the lane quick. If you make good rotations with the jungler you could go with something else. My personnal favorite is SUNDER. Sunder effect + ama passive + heavenly reflection fully charged is crazy especially in the early game against a squishy. Just dash on him with the shield charged, use sunder, box him a little bit so the shield is fully charged and VOILA you just pulled out more dmg than he could imagine. The second relic depends if you took sunder or teleport. If you took sunder, you could go with teleport or MEDITATION. If you took teleport you could go with meditation/Sunder ( IMO sunder is risky to take mid game but it always depends on your play style )

Don't be scared to use the Dash to silent ennemy players while they use their ability( Kumbhakarna, Bellona, Thor etc...)

Amaterasu is a really good basic attack based warrior so don't be scared to box the sh*t out of the ennemy laner if you sure of what you are doing.

Sustain: One of the best heal I know of in all the warriors, with the CDR of BOV+Shield of regrowth you get max CDR so use heavenly reflection to mitigate dmg and her stance to give back some health and give the most beneficial aura for the team.

Laning phase and early game overall is now super important in conquest for season 4, more than ever. For this reason amaterasu has dropped slightly in the tier list, but don't be fool about it she's still one of the most prolific solo laner in the game.

Thanks for reading!

** but watch it because the stance of amaterasu can be a savior once you about to die... and could be the reason why you died. Damage is good, movement speed is good, use both of them wisely.

ChopperChek-

Items in solo

First item is always the starter with 4 hp pot and 4 multi pot ( no mana pot because the mana buff should give you enough ressources for the laning phase ).
Next item always boots - Never ever go for the atk speed boots, because ama early game has a poor AA, death's toll is the answer for that, always take the warrior tabi.
Third item is situationnal - Playing against a mage healer (like Chang'e) go for pestilence. Against any physical you should always take Breastplate of Valor. We need our max CDR the fastest way possible, this item will give us plenty of it. Against a magical god that doesn't heal that much go for Genji's guard. Way better overall than Oni Garb* and the new magical armor because of the CDR you get ( only 10% tho ) and the passive goes perfectly well against a god that will poke the sh*t out of you.
Forth item: I love taking shield of regrowth. There's a point in the game where the jungler AND the mid will go top to gank you. They will always fail because of the speed you have + you should be able to start switching lane ( I only start to really switch lane at my second relics in a situation where I am not snowballing ).
Fifth item: Situationnal, ennemy gods hitting you too hard and having problem staying in group fight ? Go for Gauntlet of thebes and it give good protection to allies. They are slowing you down, go for winged blade, they got way too much atk speed ? Go witchblade. Here we really want an item that will give good aura and good Health.
Last item(sell starter)Now for the last item, you got many choice, if the CDR not cap'd yet go Mantle of discord(you could sell breastplate of valor for this item, too. You could go with Spirit robe or any good defense item. If there is a healer in the ennemy team and you don't already have pestilence and miss a lot of magical protection, go with Pestilence. You could easily go for Bulkwark of Hope but I personnally doesn't really like this item except for the CCR.
END GAME: Now you should be able to buy sentry wards and doing group fight non stop. You can split push if you feel like it but the best position for ama late game is with the team you will make a huge difference as she his one the best bruiser of the game. Her aura, combined with all the items above makes her deadly and viable for long team fight. You could sell boots and go with Stone Cutting Sword for a full build- do this especially if you feel the other ADC in the ennemy team has too much power and you cannot box him out.

Things to come

Next build will be supp amaterasu in the dual lane. (DONE)

I will make a Joust Build soon, and a Duel build too.

* There's only a physical build for now, this build page is not over yet so don't worry I will make one to counter Guardian, Hunters and Mage when I'll have some time!
