Amaterasu harnesses the power of her jewel, gaining Attack Speed and healing herself every second for 4s. She also creates a persistent aura that buffs nearby allied gods. Every time this ability is activated the aura switches between Valor and Benevolence.

Amaterasu charges her mirror for 5s. While the mirror is charging she takes decreased damage. By activating the ability again or at the end of the 5s she will fire her mirror straight ahead, dealing damage. The mirror can be charged by successfully attacking enemies or from taking damage, and will deal up to double the base damage when fully charged.

Amaterasu focuses the power of the heavens into an impressive 3 strike combination attack. The 2nd hit will do 20% more base damage and slow enemies. The 3rd hit will do 40% more base damage and stun enemies. She must hit an enemy with the 1st hit to receive the increased damage and CC on the 2nd hit. The same rule applies to the 2nd and 3rd hits.

Ama tips

Ama is an excellent counter to many gods and can be extremely effective in team fights when played properly.

Just a quick few tips:

-DONT ALWAYS ENGAGE WITH YOUR 3 (dash)! The silence in Ama's 3rd ability can be extremely useful. If possible, save it for when the enemy uses an ability you can cancel with the silence.
-Examples: When Guan Yu uses his 3, you can counter with your 3, cancelling his ability.
When Bellona uses her 2, you can use your 3 to silence her out of the ability before her overhand attack, etc.

-Don't rush your 2 when engaging in a fight to get quick damage. If possible, try to hit at least 3 basic attacks before re-activating your 2 so her passive becomes active, giving your 2 more damage.

-If you are fighting a tough god, or more than 1, when you activate your 2, leave it up as long as possible to take advantage of the extra damage mitigation it provides.

A side note, the "Full Cooldown" is now just 35%. I believe the warrior's innate CD was reduced from 10% to 5%.

No items I can find that just have 5% (or 15%), so it's 35% or overcap and lose some value.

Actually that's not the case. Warriors start with 5% CD as their class bonus, and at level 20 they end with 10%, so a full build only needs 30%.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
