Chapter Title

I pick skills differently because in mid lane path of flames can help stop the lane from pushing, by getting behind minions and running toward your tower. However, when in a side lane it is more useful as an escape or for chasing and Flame Wave can poke better. This depends on your lane partner and which gods you are facing and if you can count on your lane partner to help slow the minion push.

Also in any of the builds without Bulwark of Hope, feel free to exchange the last item out for the Bulwark. Even if it is earlier in the order than the last item.

I can tell you haven't played in a while. Boots of celerity don't exist at the time of you posting this, they are now Travelers Shoes. Additionally, Shoes of the Magi no longer have penetration, just additional power. This has made Shoes of Focus the new standard for most mages.

I would recommend that you save comments for more up-to-date guides :P

Even if you aren't retreating and going in to close the gap the dash skill still helps so again the boots aren't needed you should use the boots of the Magi instead so you use that Magical Penetration.
