I can't download the game

Hello smitefire community, I have a wierd bit of a problem ..

I'm unable to download the game..

the downloader keeps getting stuck at 0.5% then resets to 0.3% in an endless loop !

I have tried the "Restart Service" method , no use ..

and also switched Firewall and UAC off, didn't work

Tried running it as Admin, still the same problem :'(

I contacted support about it, they gave me a CMD program to manually uninstall the game files and delete registry stuff, then they told me to try and re-download it again

Howver, that STILL didn't solve the problem, it isn't downloading..
it is always stuck at that 0.5 percent of death

Can anyone help me pls ?
I reeeeeeealy want to play this game so bad -_-" but with this problem I don't think I will anytime soon unless they fix ..

btw, am running Windows7 64-bit

Internet maybe? Could be that you've used to to much (Could be to much torrent) that you exceeded the max memory you could download what ever it is. It happens especially if you just have 1mb-2mb service. It gets slow after that. Unless you stop using the net for a few hours then it will come back...

if it realy was my internet cuasing me problems, then how can I download other things (size 100mb+) fine ? ;$ and I can play online games fine with no lag whatsoever (e.g. LoL)

I got 4mb internet connection so am a bit confused :x

Then I have no idea. When stuff downloads to slow for me than normally it's mostly due to my net and nothing else. :/

What versions does smite say when downloading it? Is it downloading the newest version? If its not then theres a problem.

Open up task manager see if anything is running that causes a problem, I usually open up task manager when I have problems with something to make sure random **** isn't messing up my computer

It says "smite 0.1.1850.0 is downloading"

I don't know if there are any random tasks messing up my download as I don't have too much programs, however what caught my eye is that I have 2 Awesomium process' that come up in task manager when the game launcher is open .. is that normal?

Have you tryed running the game in safe mode or repairing download?

Remember this is a fansite, so theres not much we can do.

Try to contact HiRez support, they might help you out. But I've experienced something similar to this when I had to back up my Smite. I guess you've been disconnected while downloading the game, which ''breaks'' the launcher. Try to repair, or reinstall the game as a whole( HiRez launcher and the Smite launcher).

after endlessly trying all the different methods the game still wont download.

HOWEVER

after the new update to smite ( 0.1.1868.3) I CAN FINALLY DOWNLOAD THE GAME AND PLAY !
