One thing to note about the image hosting service we use. It is called a "content delivery network" or CDN. What this means is that there is a network of servers scattered around the world that can deliver images. When your web browser requests an image, that request will get routed to the server that is geographically closest to you. If your closest server is having issues, the images may not work for you, while they may still work for users in other parts of the world.
So if you have issues it might also help to let us know what part of the world you are in! Europe for example, only has one server at the moment, while the US has many.
