Which did you guys find first? The Game Smite or SmiteFire? And how did it came to be to find them.

For me It's the game. From a youtube video I found myself downloading this. Then I tried searching smite and found this site.

Of course, Smite came first. My theory is, the game became popular through youtube, and as a lot of LoL players plays Smite, the ''Fire'' community decided to create the SmiteFire. But when I joined Smite, Smitefire already existed.

Smite. SmiteFire came a good 3 or 4 months after the release of Smite's CLOSED beta. It mainly got popularity because so many LoL commentators were giving out keys in competitions, and then people who didn't get it wanted to get in, and then they realised how easy it was to get in... And the rest was history.

Some random guy at my school played Smite in between classes while my laptop was KOd. I had been looking into other Mobas, and liked the look of this one (and the chance to get into a game in beta). He and I are pretty good friends now. Then about 3 days later after I had decided I liked it I looked for Smite guides and liked this site the best.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
