I have a pretty bad computer, and lately it has been stupid. Now it is freezing up after around 10 minutes of use. My friend thinks I am overloading the hard drive, which is probably true. It is not a gaming computer by any means, though I do play a lot of games on it. And lately I play a lot of LoL. So this was my thinking, iv should uninstall Smite because I don't play it at all, and I get ****ty frame rate on it so when I do its only in arena. The reason I don't want to uninstall it is because it is a lot of fun to play. I mainly play smite for like 2 games when a new god comes out, and ten I don't play it. So I think I should uninstall Smite until I get a new computer. But my question to the whole thing is, does anyone have any thoughts on what could be happening or what I should do to help the computer currently?

I'm not very computer savvy, but if something works fine for a short duration, then proceeds to fail as you continue playing, doesn't that imply a problem with the cooling system?

That's what I thought, I want to try and get it checked out because I have a feeling it could be the fan. Especially sense I have 2 dogs.

Some additional information would've been nice. How much free space do you have on your hard drive at the moment, what temperatures do you have while playing Smite and what components are you using? I've heard RealTemp is a great program to see your temperature with, check that one out if you don't know any other.

Well, I can't get on my computer because as soon as I log in, it will just shut down. I know something is up. But I would get y more info if I could.

Well because Smite is a pretty big download, and I don't play it much anymore. And I have looked around at games I do have and I play them. Plus I'm not the only one who uses it, it is a family laptop. Though I should be getting a new laptop in the relatively near future. But I still need to fix this so every one can use the computer.

Smite and laptop used in the same sentence. Lol, yeah go ahead and delete Smite - whether or not it's your problem, it won't do any good to play it on a laptop.

Turnip, don't talk. I play on a f**king Thinkpad, and I can still play smite.

I need to play on "lowest" in all settings, and I still get an unstable FPS of 20, but still...

I play on the lowest setting and get 11-14 fps. And in a team fight, well, lets just say negative numbers appear. Lol.
