Are you guys still finding Smite fun? (aimed at those early beta players)

I always found Smite fun, but similar to MMO's I find it near impossible to regularly play multiple MOBA games. It seems like lots of people that play other MOBAs try them for a bit then realize they'll have to spend a lot of time and effort to excel at the game (surpriiiise!) then end up just going back to the MOBA they are already good at and is already polished.

So many MOBA games have popped up since the success of LoL and DotA, but it seems really hard for new MOBAs to actually get a decent playerbase since the vast majority of MOBA players like to stick to the game they already know. I feel like MMO's had the same problem competing with WoW. You invest so much time in a game that you don't want to just up and leave it.

i played when anhur came out and i still love the game. I play LoL with irl friends and smite with friends i made here :)

Yeah i actually compare all MMOs with DAOC, just because i adored that game and the fun i had on it.

I am currently level 12 but loving it so far :)

I joined when Cupid came out and I find it more fun than I did then.

Well I have played a little over 1.2k+ games and I still find it fun if rather exhausting (ranked sucks the life out of me)

I can't play ranked. I feel it's too competitive. A good friend of mine told me, "When you become a pro, you lose all values of the game. It's just a game. Once you realize this, you'll relieve the stress of trying to improve. Victories will be much sweeter, and losses won't hurt as much,"

I met some real A-holes today trying to order me around. I was playing casually with some god I don't use, and they were trying to teach me how even though through the entire time (roughly half an hour) I only died once.

If you go to ranked and you don't know how to play more then 12 gods just call 1-3 gods right from the get go and tell people that that's all you know how to play ;) that should allow you to avoid situations like that. And well having few deaths doesn't equal to playing well :/

Yeah, I was explaining and adding the deaths in case you were going to ask if I fed.

Also right before that game I went 8-0 with Ymir with tons more assists.
