Skill "preview"?

Hey guys,

im not really new to Smite, but I think my question is a bit nooby. :D

Anyway, my question is, how can I see the skill "preview" of some skills, instead of just a circle on the floor?

E.g. Ymirs walls....before some patches, when i pushed "1" I saw a transparent preview of the wall. Now i only see a square on the floor and in my opionion its easier to aim, if u can see the whole wall before using the skill.

I checked every setting, but i couldnt find anything. I know its still possible, cuz I see it always when I watch some streams or vids on youtube, like Drybears or Squiddish.

Hmmm, I have no clue how to help you. There are no settings for it. :/

There must be something to change it. Like I said Drybear and Squiddish they have it, and I saw other streams without those skill previes.

This kind of thing has been changing on a patch to patch basis, so who knows. Yours might just be bugged and will be back next patch.

Ok, I thought there might be a setting for it. And i had several patches since it disappeard.

If im not wrong, it disappeard whith the Sun Wukong patch.

Could increasing your graphics setting show the wall? I know that's not as simple as that (depending o hyper computer) but I think that will solve the problem.

When you hit K to preview to your talents make sure they are default and not instant.

Also settings > controls and make sure it's on normal casting. Only things I can think of.

To see the skill anmations, and not just a thickness indicator on the ground, you just need to deactivate "Simple Targeting Aid" in the controls settings. I posted a picture below of where you can find it in the settings as well. :P
