I thought of this many times but everytime I wanted to test it I was so caught up playing the match that I forgot to look at the accolades.

So just out of curiosity, let's say I taunt a Thanatos towards Anubis, Anubis wraps him up and melts him before I can damage Thanatos, will that count as an assist since Confound does no damage?

P.S. I think this is the right section for my question.

But yea, you can get an assist if you did recent damage to the god and also if you're just standing near and have not done damage. (ranged firing distance + a little bit)
(Like Subzero already said, but I felt I had to point out his capslock for reasons but also had to stay on-topic, issues.)
That's just my 2 cents.

You dont have to do anything other then standing in the general area for an assist.
