surrender - match Q, ect.

I don't know about the rest of you? but i am about fed up with the early surrenders.you wait in q forever just to see the failed { MATCHING } followed by { FAILED }. i have waited through 3-4 failed q's and than you get in the game just start to have fun about 10-15 mins in. than THE OTHER TEAM HAS AGREED TO SURRENDER ! what a bunch of bs. i wish they would take out the surrender all together or make it 30 mins before allowing a vote. so team surrenders than wait for 1-3 more failed q's. which is my next complaint when will they do something to stop that? u miss the accept and wait 10 mins wow! nobody cares. they should make it a hour than maybe people wont be missing the q or leaving the game. OK now i do really like the game! these issues are making the game not so enjoyable though and it has gotten worst. any thoughts love to hear back on other people's ideas ?

You can make the desterter buff for a week for all I care, Ill just play my smurf accounts.
I dont pay for this game and its normal match and my team sucks so we are going to surrender to get the favor and leave.

this is what is going on in the minds of people and honestly, they are right. Surrendering happens rather quickly in premade games with teams. There comes a time where you know you have lost the game and surrender to get to game 2. Welcome to MOBAs this is how we do things around here. =\

i guess everyone has a different reason for playing. i personally do not care if my team wins or not. winning is great and i try to help my team as much as i can and do the obj's but for example i have 17-4-7 score and we lose,well i kicked butt and had fun.

Its a team game and a single person going on about themselves is a hindrance to the game.
I am by no means saying this is you, just the mentality of players in this genre of game is all.

As well as knowing that kills dont mean you are doing good at all. Maybe your role should get kills and you are taking them from those that need them, or KSing them. How is your creep farm, how is your jungle farming, what towers did you drop and where you there for all team fights?

There is much more than your KD ratio :P

It's normal Tormentor. This is just a Beta game. When there will be bunch of players like League Of Legend, you won't care anymore about who is leaving in queue because the game starts in like 10 seconds! :D

About the early surrender, do the same thing I do : play with a friend. That way, you won't never get an early surrender (from your team)

But i just read that you were talking about the Enemy Surrender. Well, I guess it's probably not the same thing in Elo Queue because you have to win to boost your rank.

Anyway, lets keep in mind that Smite is still in Beta. They'll improve their game, i hope so. :)

The game being in beta has nothing to do with anything that he is talking about tho.

In fact it does because being in beta means that the game is not finished yet. He was talking about how the Queue stuff is not optimal. By example 2 weeks ago, there was no penalty for leaving Queue, now it's 10 minutes. I bet that they'll probably raise that amount soon or maybe make another improvment.

You can make the timer a week and people will stop not accept the queue. People tab out, bio breaks and other real life stuff pop up. People also surrender because they are not playing well and want to end the game. Not because the game is in beta.

Yeah that's true! What i wanted to say is that they'll make improvments, not to resolve the entire problem, but to be less annoying for people who actually want to play. Tormentor was right about the surrender's timer. If you make it to 20min, maybe they won't surrender that fast and think about it before leaving the game.

Quite the same thing for leaving the queue. If you raise it to 1hour, people won't leave that easy and they'll check if they have nothing to do IRL. :p

But i totally agree about the fact it's also a players' problem.
